Works
I like the fact that it has a metal knob and the long length. The price is right too. Make sure before you install it to remove the inner wire, straighten it an then lube the inside of the outer loom. Once you do this you should have smooth operation.

The inner wire is twisted or crimped beyond repair.
I needed the 12 feet in order to reach a boat motor from the steerage, however the inside cable is so tightly coiled from shipping that the cable would not move. I removed the cable and attempted to lubricate it after straightening, but that was not successful. A choke cable that requires two hands and is herky jerky at best is not an efficient tool. Two stars for trying, but really junk. Maybe consider expanding the packaging to prevent the crimping of the inner cable.

Works great for the coil springs!
I use these to make coil springs for silverware bracelets and these work perfect!

Design isn’t quite what I hoped
I understand this is a very long choke assembly, but this cable “binds” a little more than I’d like, even perfectly straight. On a positive note, you won’t have to worry about it backing off! I needed a 45° gradual bend at the engine bay and this made it very difficult to pull out/push in. Just a heads up! A plastic casing may work better for bends than this metal casing.

You have to pull the wire out of the sleeve to straighten it.
I read some other reviews and they are saying they cant get it to work. The trick is to straighten the inner wire. But you have to pull it all the way out to do that. If you dont it just spins inside the sleeve. It takes a little skill and patience. You have to grip it tight with both hands and use your thumbs as sort of a lever and start at one end and work your way to the other straightening a little at a time. Then feed the wire back into the sleeve.

Works but not well.
Will work in some cases when you can keep it straight when installed will not work if it winds like a roller coaster.
