mophie Juice pack for Samsung Galaxy S6 (3,300mAh) - Black

It gets a 5 star. Ok galaxy s6 batteries suck I expected more battery life of the phone. I work all day long with my phone and it always had to be on a charger or I must have a battery pack in my back pocket and that is horrible walking around with a wire coming out ur pocket to your phone at an auto auction. Plus because my phone will die off and leave me without a phone I bought a cheap prepaid galaxy core prime that works off wifi and it's pretty sad when a 89 dollar galaxy has a better battery than a 700 phone.This Morphine I love love love it. My phone for the 1st time ever did not die and I did not have to whip out my cheap galaxy core prime to work with. All day at the auto auction I had my car scanning apps on carfax , autoniq ( which uses alot battery), and my OBII scanning app. At 8pm when I left the second auction for the day I had a 100 battery normally I am used to having no battery 3 hours into auction and have the auction secretary plug my phone in while I use my galaxy prime phone. Not today and that made me extremely happy.I do have the white case it is a bit slick and very white but I love it. It took me some time to get used to it as I am used to an otterbox and afraid the Morphie wouldn't protect my phone like it did. Well the phone is enclosed even comes up the sides and protects them. I did order a glass screen protector and put that on my phone as well so my screens not bare. It makes my phone a little longer than when it was in the otterbox but in width it slimmed my phone down as the otterbox was bulky.The item does charge slow but its ok cause it charges the phone and case to full overnight. My Samsung wireless charger does not work but again that's OK cause I do not have to take it with me everywhere I go now to charge my phone.Now one thing I noticed is that some reviews said u could access your files via USB with Morphie on. I cannot my comp won't see the phone as a storage device now unless i take it from case.But again that's OK cause my work comp has bluetooth and i can print docs from my phone directly to printer when needed so that works fine for me.

I've become very depended on this battery case. It's very nice to be able to just flip a switch to charge your phone rather than having to carry a charger around with you. It actually charges pretty fast I think. And you get a full charge out of it. It's nice to have when you know you have a full day or night planned ahead of you and you know your phone battery just isn't going to last . Especially if your still using a galaxy s6 like I am. It's an old phone so the battery has already been through hell.I will say this though. There's a reason why I didn't give it 5 stars:1- I have the black case. It has a flat black matte finish which part of me likes because it feels good in my hand (the white case is slick as snot). But on the other hand it is way more susceptible to scuff marks. I have dropped mine a lot and while it does protect the phone very well it all shows on the case.2- Within the past year (probably not even that long) I am now on my third one. My first one stopped working after about 6-8 weeks. I don't know if that was because it was damaged from a drop or just burnt out from usage. The 2nd one, the case didn't fit together well. When you put your phone in this case , you slip you phone into the bottom 3/4 of case and then you slip the top 1/4 of the case on like a cap. And usually it's a really good fit but on mine the top didn't snap on well and would pop off easily. Now I'm on my third one and I have had it for about a month or more and seems to be doing well.So even after the cons I listed above, I still will keep getting this case for my phone. I feel the pros of having a case that protects my phone well and can charge it with a simple flip of a switch is well worth the price. I do highly recommend getting the tempered glass screen protector too. This case does not include any protection the the screen.

My Galaxy S6 battery is complete garbage. The phone was approaching useless since it wouldn't charge fully and wouldn't hold it's small charge long enough to have a single phone call. The mophie has restored life back into the phone which lasts an entire day now. There is good weight and size making it comfortable to hold. The only complaints are that the mophie is so glossy/slippery that it won't stand/prop up without falling over, it slides off my lap, slips out of my hands when I have dry winter skin, and it cracked in two places on one of those slip & falls. However it still works great and saved my phone. I wish I could find a silicon skin to help make it slip/slide less. Maybe a couple of rubber bands will do the trick, but I haven't tried that yet.

I really like this thing. I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this as I read some reviewer complaints about the weight and size of it. Yes, this thing is a little on the heavy side (it's a huge battery, after all!). Yes, it will make your phone more chunky. That said, it does everything it promises to. I like that there is a toggle switch to turn it from phone power to Mophie power. I like all the added battery time it provides (my Galaxy S6 would go dead by the end of the day, and now I'm still at 90% when I plug it in at night). I also like the soft, matte feel of this (I don't find it slippery at all, unlike some reviewers).Your phone slips into the Mophie (Galaxy S6 version) in two parts. The top of the Mophie comes off, you slide the phone down into it, then you snap the top back on. This holds the phone nice and firmly and there is no fear of the phone ever coming loose.It comes with an adapter to hook it up to your PC. With the Mophie on your phone, you can still plug it into your stock power adapter to charge.My only minor gripe is that quick charge does not seem to work on the Mophie.4.5 stars.

Esta Juice Pack para Samsung S6 en versión gold es un producto premium, de eso nos damos cuenta nada más ver la caja. El packaging es genial, y muy bien pensado para mostrarnos mucha info útil del producto y para abrirlo sin necesidad de navajas o tijeras como algunos otros productos que parece que están en una caja fuerte (véase los sennheisser cx300)Al abrir la caja nos encontramos con una funda/batería color gold muy bonita, nada de dorado tipo chino, es un dorado de calidad.Le damos la vuelta y tiene un botón que nos muestra 4 leds si está a tope cargada, pasando por 3, 2 y 1 si está más bien al mínimo.El minibotoncito de la derecha es para decirle al juice pack que empiece a cargar el móvil.Tiene 3300mhA y carga mi Samsung S6 una vez y poco más. Por tanto con el juice pack tenemos la carga del móvil, la del juice, y otra media más aproximadamente. Da para un día de uso muy intensivo del móvil sin preocuparte lo más mínimo. Uso de GPS, bluetooth, juegos, video, grabar vídeo...a saco vamos. Dejar claro que yo empiezo a cargarlo cuando mi terminal está en las últimas, al 8%-10% de batería. Si quereis dos cargas empezar a cargar el terminal al 40% aproximadamente. Carga muy rápido, le das a cargar, te lo metes en el bolsillo, y él va haciendo su trabajo. También se calienta todo el pack que da gusto cuando carga el terminal, pero como un cargador de carga rápida vamos. Quemar no quema.Sobre el tamaño diré que está bastante conseguido. Aumenta un poco a lo largo y a lo ancho, pero con un sistema de orificios para altavoces realemente implementado, parece que tiene más sonoridad el terminal cuando lo oyes sin auriculares. Cuidadito con los auriculares que usais con él por que no todas las clavijas entran en el orificio para el jack. Yo uso unos maravillosos soundmagic reacién adquiridos y su clavija es tan estrecha que los uso sin problemas. Si tienes una clavija más gruesa este pack trae un adaptador/expansor...pero ya tendrás que llevar un cacharro más en tu bolsillo.Por cierto el juice pack no te hace perder la conectividad usb de tu terminal con un pc y traficar datos. Los botones de volúmen y encendido van realmente suavecitos, muy bien.Ahora vamos con los INCONVENIENTES/MEJORABLES:1- La carcasa es de un material y un acabado muy bonito...Pero se resbala que da gusto. Está pulido totalmente. Debería ser un poco más gomosa, como las fundas de silicona de toda la vida, algo así con más grip, que aguante impactos sin hacer marcas y que no se resbale cada dos por tres. En una mesa de cristal si lo dejas así un poco rápido se pega dando vueltas un par de segundos. Para ponerlo en el adaptador del coche igual, lo agarra, por que agarra fuerte, pero nose, me parece que en un bache se puede caer. Ya veremos con un uso normal...pero preveo que va a haber que tratarlo muy muy bien para que no se marque o se raye.(en 2-3 meses actualizo)2- Este juice pack se compone de dos partes, una en donde deslizas y asientas el móvil, y otra que se pone arriba con el orificio para la cámara, el flash y el sensor infrarrojo etcetc... Bueno pues aunque estas dos piezas casan realmente bien y están perfectamente diseñadas para este terminal...no me termina de convencer la unión de estas dos piezas entre si, podía haber sido aun más fina. Es un detalle, y repito que casan bien, pero cuesta 70 pavos y me gustaría que casasen aun mejor.3- Cuando enchufas el cargador a todo el conjunto parece ser que carga el móvil primeramente y después el pack. Pero me gustaría un conmutador para poder elegir qué cargar primero. Sería bastante útil en determinadas ocasiones.En general y a la espera de ver su comportamiento con el tiempo creo que ha sido buena compra.

I work as a gas and industrial electrical engineer during my day to day job which often involves unpredictable long days and nights on site using the phone consistently for emails, PDF editing, photos of problem equipment, connecting to software and local networks via Bluetooth/WiFi file sharing and general web use. I bought three galaxy S6 as my main personal and work phone back in June and it's almost the perfect phone for my day to day life apart from the dismal battery which would often die during the most important times in my day, I.e later on.This is soley caused by the non removable 25500 milliamp hour battery which comes as standard with the galaxy S6 and is basically undersized for any "power" users. I tried deal with this by charging the phone at any opportunity which was putting stress on the micro USB connector and often left me with no phone by 8pm on very busy days.Rant over, let's get to the point.First off, this case adds weight and bulk to the phone so if you want something that's slim and not bulky then look elsewhere for an otterbox commuter case or similar. This isn't a problem for me personally because it slips into my pocket.Edit: Nov 2016 just buy a Kiwibird it's much cheaper and slightly smaller with similar performance.

Update: it's been about 7 months and it's starting to not hold it's charge as long and the corner has cracked off. Another corner is starting to crack too but I haven't dropped it once. It's been a great ride for 7 months but it'll soon be time to retire it. Knocking off one star.I love my phone with the exception if it's horrific battery life, when I found out that the battery wasn't replaceable I thought I'd be forced to get a different one because it was so unreliable. This case literally saved my phone, I can go through a full day of heavy usage and still be above 50% by midnight. Mind blown.

I had other battery cases in the past though not as well constructed as this. I really like the design of the mophie the way the phone slides into case makes it a more secure fitting. Another feature I appreciate is a lock button to make sure that we don't accidently waste your last charge. The only thing I could say would to improve/ fault is the case feels quite glossy / slidy to the touch ! A section of friction would do wonders and prevent dropping the phone on those selfie moments!:)
