[Samyang] Extremely Spicy! HACK Bulldark Spicy Chicken Roasted Sauce 200g / Korean food/Korean sauce/Asian dishes/Fire Noodle Challenge (Limited Edition)

This sauce is great on meats, noodles, and as a condiment for foods.

Everything I eat has to be spicy for it to be good. And I’m always craving spicy food. I cooked top ramen and poured this sauce over just the noodles. Sprinkled a bit of the chicken flavored top ramen packet. It was a really good combo. Flavor was 10/10 Very spicy!! My mouth was on fire 🔥 and my stomach was burning up for a while after too. While I was suffering I swore I was never eating it again. But I’ll just add less sauce next time

FIRST THINGS FIRST: THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE REGULAR AND MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE "LIMITED EDITION" IS 6200 SHU and halal on the regular, and 6000 SHU on the "limited" one. Mystery solved.Goes on nearly anything for a flavorful kick. For hotheads, it's a good sauce. Unique flavor and heat in a tidy package.For novices, well, for you the flavor would be outstripped by the heat which might lead to some discomfort for you so i would look at one of the other buldak sauces.Versatility and Flavor: like this on noodles (duh), but also as a sauce for fatty meat cuts that aren't steaks. Flap meat, denver cuts, skirt steak and carne asada.I like it on dark meat chicken and CHICKEN WINGS, and as part of a sauce component for pulled pork bbq sauce.Overall i would say this is a 5 star sauce because it is uniquely hot and not just a "pass the msg" flavor.Value is meh. I don't like that the "limited" edition is more expensive and has less heat. Is that because it ISN'T halal like the other one?? 😒I think people are being overcharged for the "limited" edition. It would be my expectation that it would cost MORE for more heat and a religious/cultural preparation.

This is my husbands favorite go to sauce to add to his meal. He definitely has a tolerance for heat, so he can go a little crazy with the amount. He always has a stock and he’s not a happy camper if he runs out.
