I was excited - but now disappointed a bit
I got these and was really excited about them after reading the reviews, because I had issues with Lansinoh brand breaking while defrosting. I was happy with these until I got home yesterday and noticed my storage cooler for Milk pumped during the day was wet - which meant something was leaking.I haven't used these for defrosting yet so don't know how they hold up with that - BUT - I looked closely, and noticed these leak out of the top seals. I moved my pumped 4oz into another bag, made sure it was seal correctly and tipped it upside down - sure enough it started leaking through the seal as well... I am pretty disappointed in this because any mama that pumps know how much hard work it is, and when you pump 5x a day and BF that milk becomes like a pile of gold.I will say that I do like the thickness/sturdiness of the bags - but the leaking may have me looking else where again.

Best storage bags!!! Love them!!
This is the second time I've ordered these and I LOVE THEM. I've gone through a full box and NOT ONE has broken. I HAD to get more! So far these are truly the BEST storage bags I've used hands down! I can fit about 8oz in each (even though the bags are for 6) and I'm confident my liquid gold is safe in these. The plastic is a nice and thick, good quality, and the seals are strong and work perfectly. I won't be buying any other storage bags, ever. The only down side is that they aren't stackable like some others, but that doesn't matter much since I know these won't break and that's MUCH more important. 100% recommended. I save between 16-24oz a day (which translates to using 2-3 bags) and these have been a blessing. They're easy to pour into (I have a special container for pouring my milk but anything that funnels will have no issue) and easy to pour out after defrost (the sides work as funnels very well). Hope this helps other moms!!

which hopefully means it's sturdy through freezing and thawing
These are more narrow than other bags, so they don't freeze as flat, which means they don't stack/store as well. It also makes it a little more difficult to pour into because the opening is smaller than other bags. I haven't spilled any yet though! The plastic is more rigid than I was expecting, which hopefully means it's sturdy through freezing and thawing. I haven't thawed any yet, so I can't speak for how these behave after freezing and thawing, but I haven't had any leaking during freezing, and I've gone through almost 50 bags at this point. Also, the pull tab at the top is kind of hard to rip off in one piece, maybe because of the rigidity of the plastic, but it's not a big deal. For the cost, these seem worth it. As long as these don't leak during thawing, I'll definitely purchase more.

So far so good! New staple item
I'm only giving 4 starts because I haven't started defrosting milk I have stored in these bags yet. So far I like them better than the other brands I have used, Nuk and Lansinoh. The Lansinoh brand bags are consistently leaking when I defrost them. The Nuk bags are constantly leaking before I even freeze them, and you have to triple check the zipper. I liked the Medela bags but they are more expensive. These bags are a little pricier than the others but it's worth it to save our precious liquid gold! And you can tell the difference in quality as soon as you touch them. The material is strong and doesn't feel as thin as the others. They are also easier to zip and you can tell when they are actually closed. I'll be using these from now on and hope to have no leakage issues when defrosting them.

Better than Medela or NUK bags
These bags are excellent and a great value for the cost. We have used the Medela and Nuk bags as well, and these are the favorites. Some areas for comparison:• Medela: These bags run about $15 for 50 bags. They are fine and fairly sturdy, though sometimes pouring them into a bottle is easy to spill because of the wide square opening. The ounce markers are not accurate. Single zipper.• NUK: These run about $10 for 50 bags. They are the cheapest feeling/most flimsy of the three we have used, and I would think would puncture easily depending on how they are stored. We haven't had a leak yet though, so they are not bad. They have a tapered opening which is nice for pouring. The ounce markers are not accurate.• Bonafide: These bags run about $20 for 100 (comparable to NUK pricing) and so they are much more affordable than Medela. They are also the highest quality of the three and have the thickest material. There is a double zipper and they haven't leaked for us. The ounce markers are also not accurate, but it seems this is just the standard for all bags—I pump into a measured bottle so I just mark what it says on the bag with the date. They are easy to pour and are our favorites, especially for the cost.

Will not leak!
Love these bags. They are thicker than other breastmilk storage bags and DO NOT LEAK. I repeat, DO NOT LEAK! Because the plastic is thicker, they stand upright, unsupported. Once in a while, it is necessary to separate the bottom fold the creates more room and allows the bag to stand upright, but it only seems relevant when pouring 6-8oz into the bag. The bags are a little narrower and shorter than other bags (Like Lanisoh) so the larger volumes create more bulk in the freezer. I would rather have more bulk than a leaky bag. The only drawback is that the tops tend to curl once the strip is removed, making it a little difficult to pour from the bag to a bottle. Great product! Well worth the extra few pennies per bag!

Really wanted to love these.
I usually use Lansinoh bags normally. But because they often leak when thawing frozen milk, I wanted to try other options. Bonafide Baby bags probably don't leak during the defrosting process, but is problematic when filling. I pump for daycare while at work. Label can only be written on with markers (sharpie type). One is provided, but sometimes I only have pens handy. Tabs pull off jaded. No line to write in ounces. Whenever I go to squeeze the air out and seal the bag I always (ALWAYS!) end up squeezing out a couple drops of milk. This is a non issue with the bags I normally use. They do not lay as flat as other bags when freezing. Otherwise they are cute and sturdy. Did the job required. Daycare provider has no problem with them. I would love to support small business, but these bags aren't very convenient. Probably won't purchase again.
