Q: I have tried 3 products that say they moisturize and heal dry vaginal walls. 2 of them gave me uti-urinary tract infections. anyone else?

This is from personal experience (not with this product): make sure you use bathroom before inserting, then use d-mannose powder immediately after and for a while with each use of any vag product until tissues are restored. D-mannose attaches to bacteria and carries it out of urinary tract. Its also helpful post nooky for those prone to uti’s. Its wonderful stuff. Hope this is helpful to you or others.

Q: Why does this product leave behind a curdled messy discharge? What is it? Leftover chemicals from the formula?

That discharge is actually the dried cells from the vaginal walls being sloughed off. The discharge will lesson after using this on a regular, two to three times a week,; it took me almost a month of almost continuous use for the tissues to be sufficiently hydrated! Now I only need it once a week!

Q: The box is not sealed - is that how they all are? The applicator is sealed in plastic and the ointment also has a seal that has to be punctured.

When I received mine I don't think my box was sealed either the applicator is supposed to be sealed in plastic and the ointment is supposed to have a seal that has to be punctured with the cap if you turn the cap around you will see that it has a point on it that point will puncture the ointment

Amazon sells bags of vaginal applicators, some for suppositories and some for creams. You want the one for creams/gels. They can be pulled apart and cleaned, dried, and reused. I usually throw them out when the plastic stops fail and the plunger will no longer stay in the tube. I've used most of them 7-8 times before that failure occurs. Just wash with soap and water, using a bottle cleaner narrow enough to insert in the tube, and rinse well. I usually also do a final rinse with some witch hazel to help kill any germs, etc. Make sure they dry out completely and then put them back together for reuse.
