I've been buying these for my little Maltese for a few years, now, off and on. She gets so excited when I say, "Let's go in the kitchen and get you a Stinky!"I gave that name to them because they have a rather unpleasant scent. But the worse they smell, the better she likes them. As a matter of fact, I've tried "low odor" and "odor free" and she's not having any part of it.As a bonus, her 6-year-old teeth are spotless and white (Maltese are very prone to dental disease).These are the best.

The media could not be loaded.  Sifting through dog treat review makes me feel the whole world might be overly competitive and neurotic. I almost didn't review these for fear that me giving the product 5 stars would make everyone assume I didn't love my dog as much as the 3 or 4 star people. Some dog owners are clearly very anxious people. I guess that makes sense since every few years a swath of dogs die because of poorly made products. Anyhow, to the review:My dog is a terrier mix from the pound. We are terribly indulgent dog owners. In the video I gave him one of these beef pizzles after a long walk. He was exhausted but he HAD TO EAT IT IMMEDIATELY. The one I gave him is not the biggest nor the smallest of the pack, just average. Bully sticks are better than cheaper options, like beef-flavored rawhide. I try not to buy those because they lay half-gummed on the floor and I end up getting grossed out and throwing them away. With bully sticks, he eats the whole thing. Thus the purchase.Smell:They don't seem to smell to me, but I don't really care about such things. We sometimes give him liver treats that stunk to high heavens so maybe I'm not the best judge.Quality:The real deal. Just like at the farm store, but half the price and shipped to my mailbox. Dog loves them the same.Size:They're not all exactly the same size and shape; that's how they come at my local farm store, too. I certainly don't get the impression I'm being ripped off because they're not all giant. There's a good variety of sizes and I don't imagine any devious machinations by the company to squeeze another cent out of me. I get the impression they're just a small company. Anyhow, the price is right and the dog doesn't care.Also, I feel like this company really needs my support or something. They sent me a bunch of emails that made me think some people are insanely neurotic about what they give their dog. All I can say was that these seem like a good product to me, and the makers do a good job of making me think they really care about both dogs in general and the quality of their product. My batch was good and I'll order more.

This is my first purchase of any kind of Bully stick. I wanted something safe and made in USA and this company has a great story as well being a GSP lover/rescuers.I love the fact that these are made from grass fed beef. The bag upon opening stinks pretty bad ( it reminded me of a dog that popped an anal gland) but it doesn't smell up the house or the dog during/after eating so I am going to assume this is a good thing. Plus my dogs go nuts for these! The sticks are much thicker than a pencil that is certain.maybe like 2-3 pencils bunched together. However my negative gripes which are specific to me are the price (which seems to be in line with other bully sticks) correlating to the fact that my 2 dogs--Golden Retriever and a German Wirehair can literally chew the whole stick in 2 mins flat. They do love the sticks and I like them as a treat by this wonderful company, I was just hoping for a longer lasting satisfying chew. I will most likely continue to buy these on occasion but price wise to how quickly they get devoured is a problem for me. I also received a wonderful follow up email from this company asking if i had any problems or questions. I emailed them back my questions on the nature of the smell and they quickly and very thoroughly responded to me. I was told these should have a smell but should never leave an offensive odor in your house or carpet etc. I was also told they will be making other larger sizes and braids so that is what my large dogs probably need to have them last longer. Very satisfied with the company and service!

I love this product for my dog. They satisfy her need to chew and she loves the taste, apparently. However, shipping and delivery of this product is very unreliable. This is not an Amazon issue, bc it happens every month. I cancelled a prescription before bc the shipping was always so delayed; sometimes after waiting several days, only to be told unavailable. I'm trying them again on prescription, and they still arrive after the promised date, but usually only 1 to three days so far. This is my third month with the try again prescription. I've looked into changing, but something about other similar products give me pause, so for now, I'm sticking with these. They have never smelled strong, as others have sometimes reported.
