Super easy and great quality so far.
Not a problem at all. Easiest phone battery I've installed in a very long time.1. Heat screen with hair dryer until it's uncomfortable to touch.2. Use plastic guitar pick to pry glass away from frame at the speaker port at the front top of the screen.3. The screen is only glued around the outer perimeter of the frame. Use the guitar pick and slide slightly inside starting from the upper speaker port and work you way around. About 1/2 way around, the screen will be easy to remove.4. Use a can or something to support (lean) the screen in an upright position.5. Remove two screws fastening the screen connector and pull the connector straight up with tweezers to unplug it.6. Remove 5 screws from metallic plate and remove plate.7. Remove screw from battery connector and use tweezer to disconnect. Be careful not to lose retainer.8. Heat battery with hair dryer and use pry tool on sides of battery just enough to slide a plastic card or guitar pick underneath. The glue is a 1/4" strip on either side of the battery.Install in reverse order. Use B7000 glue on edge of frame where screen touches it. Place something moderately heavy on phone during curing for 1 hour.My new battery is showing 98% capacity in accubattery with two charges. My old one was at 52%>Ninja edit: accubattery claiming 115% after 18 charges.

Lasted 45 days and started smelling like electronics burning almost immediately after installing.
Purchased this battery to try and extend the life of my PH1. I work on electronics regularly and have replaced the screen on this phone successfully 6 times (the main reason I wanted to keep this phone going I could order replacement screens for less than $15.) Installation was pretty simple and the battery seemed to work great. I installed accubattery before the replacement so I could see what the old battery was doing. After installing the new battery it was showing max charge of nearly 93%, awesome. I noticed almost immediately an electronic burning smell, did not pay much attention as the phone seemed to be working great again. Over the next 3 weeks everything seemed fine. After week 3 the battery slowly started losing max charge capacity. Within another 3-4 weeks the battery was worse than the original battery I replaced and the phone would not even boot and battery would not take a charge. I ended up just ordering a new phone. I recently purchased a battery from another vendor to boot the phone and get my crypto off. When I opened the phone the battery is clearly expanded nearly double the size. Honestly I just consider myself lucky this battery didn't blow up in my face.

Solid replacement
It's a fresh battery for the PH-1. Nothing really special here. Had no issues with the installation.Make sure that when you reattach the little lego connector for the battery that you press the sticky tape down as I believe it needs to be fully grounded for the touch screen. You can use tape to help reinforce the contact.

Works well so far
Relatively easy install, the releasing tape that was on the originally battery i broke, so i had to pry off the old one. Holds charge well after a week.I give it 4 stars because the label does not match OEM battery and the tape supplied is different than OEM

Looks OEM to me. Works very well.
First time replacing this battery and this one looks like it is surplus original battery. Performs like new. had it a few months already and no problems. working on this phone is another story, though! Good luck to all of you. A strong pair of reading glasses and a bright work light helps tremendously. This came with some tools as did the replacement screen I bought and I can't remember if the battery or the screen also came with a tube of B7000 glue.

Doesn't perform like OEM battery
It has now been just about 6 months since I purchased this battery. From the beginning performance was questionable. it would charge to 100% and then quickly discharge to about 70% in less than 1 hour even with the screen off. After that though it would perform like normal until about 30%, at which point the charge percentage during use would drop at about 2% each minute until it shut off at 10% Plugging it in and charging it would show it starting off at 0%. That was 6 months ago. It still discharges rapidly until it settles around 70%, but now it shuts off and is dead at just under 50%.To summarize, this battery started off worse than the original battery, and is nearly useless after barely 6 months.

Terrible battery life
If I could give a zero rating, I would! The battery life on this product is terrible! Within 10 to 15 minutes the battery is gone from 100 down to 80. This may be a new battery, but it's absolutely awful.

Excellent OEM Essential PH1 battery - Great kit
this battery, tools and install parts are right on - the install process is involved for this phone and may damage your screen (plan on replacing the screen with new if needed) This kit included the E6000 adhesive that allows the screen to be reattached correctly. Appears to be the exact battery that was original to my PH1. great kit.
