Great for bass
Perfect for saving a gut hooked bass. The tips are bent so it's easy to go straight in through the gill and turn the hook around without causing more damage. I spray them down with lubricant once a year and they stay nice and loose. Good product.

Works but rust
Great grip, like the length, but it does rust. Keep oiled and it will last a long time.

Longer the better
I ordered these pliers immediately after I got too close to a wildly flopping bluefish and got the popper treble buried in my thumb. Resulted in a big angry fish dangling from the hook in my hand while snapping razor teeth inches from my fingers. That's all background to my recommendation: BUY ONE. This product is LONGEST I could find and will keep you safely away from teeth and the top quality metal can handle the heavy twisting weight.

Just what I needed!
Came in handy for yanking big treble hooks out of the mouths of big toothy critters on a Canadian trip!
