I enjoy having black currant ice tea at a few restaurants and wanted to make some at home. I decided to try the Shangri-La Black Currant Tea and was not disappointed. I bought the tropical tea too and look forward to trying it as well.

Great flavor!

This tea is really weak. It’s got a great flavor but it’s so mild I can hardly taste it. I was looking for a tea like the black currant Jason’s Deli carries, that has a really strong distinct taste. Unfortunately this was not it. My suggestion is to steep for longer and hotter than the packaging suggest. But it makes such weak tea per bag that it ends up quite pricy per pitcher of iced tea..

I love a certain Deli's black currant tea and you cannot buy the bags there so I was hoping it would be similar. It is very good tea. I make a gallon at a time and my daughters also love it.

Delicious. Sweet without sweetener but not too sweet. Makes fantastic, summery tasting iced tea.

I make a lot of iced tea and I like to try different flavors. The black currant is very nice, as is their mango flavor. I buy from this company often because their teas are great!

This is the best iced tea! So happy to find it on amazon. It has a lovely subtle fruity flavor, sweet without any sugar! Now I just brew my own at home and don't need to go out paying for iced tea. and most places iced tea is just mediocre anyway, alas.
