Works great, sturdy, waterproof, powerful
Works great on pots (see below for non-scratch pad), bathrooms, showers, etc.First, the "red" scrubber appears to be a heavy-duty scrubber similar to the standard "green" scrubbing pads. I tried it in an inconspicuous area of a chrome finish and saw it was leaving very fine scratches. There are "no-scratch" replacement pads available on Amazon for this and similar devices, but I just stopped by the local store and grabbed a 4-pack of "blue" non-scratch pads (Scotch-Brite), traced the round circle of the pag holder onto one, and cut it into the appropriately-sized circle. Works great, and no scratches! Note that when the red scrubber wears out (working on non-scratchable surfaces I found it wore out incredibly fast), you can do the same with the Scotch-Brite (or equivalent) "green" heavy duty pads to replace it if you don't want to order pre-cut round pads from Amazon; I know I have seen large multi-packs of green scratcher pads locally for a fraction of the price of the pre-cut ones, and really it takes almost no effort at all to trace and cut out the disk. For a large tiled shower, I used a bleach-gel cleaner and the "grout" brush (the blue bristled radiating out from the disk, bottom-right in stock image). There was some splash-back, but not too much. If you are working with bleach make sure you have appropriate eye, skin, and clothing protection. Very little pressure, just guiding the brushes along the lines of grout, and it came up very nice and clean. Next to corners, however, the bulk of the device got in the way. I needed to use a different tool to get the grout lines nearest any corner. The long blue bristle brush (just above the grout one in the picture) was useful for those "corner" areas. It wasn't as effective as the grout brush, but was able to get those corners clean with just a bit more time. Later, I used this brush to work on the corners around sinks and fixtures, and found that if I pressed directly down the brushes will fan "out" and work essentially like a "mini" grout brush, which was incredibly effective again. The short blue bristle brush didn't seem effective for me at all. I imagine it would work at working shampoo into a carpet, for instance, but on a hard surface it just didn't seem to have a good use. Then of course the "scratcher pad" holder is the main flat-ish surface cleaning tool. The metal brushes are obviously too harsh for my pots/pans or for kitchen/bath, but I expect to put them to good use on the grill next time that needs a cleaning. The device itself runs at fairly low RPMs, seemingly too low to really do much (far less than a drill obviously). The benefit of this is that it reduces spatter from cleaning fluids. And, surprisingly to me, it is quite effective. The housing is a slightly "tacky" feel to it which is comfortable in one's hand. It appears to be well constructed and water-tight. The battery compartment is behind a snap-on rubber end cap.I do wish there was a way to "lock" the shaft of the device to make removing tools easier. Putting a tool on is a matter of just aligning the two nubs with the slots in the tool, then tapping the power button once to "seat" the tool. Removing a tool requires a sudden rotating motion to "unseat" the tool, where if you are not jerky enough the shaft will just rotate and the tool will stay on.I found the battery lasted about half-way through the bathroom cleaning job. Fortunately I had purchased a two-pack of extra VersaPack-replacement batteries. When I replaced the battery the power of the device kicked up much more than I had expected; it appears that the output of these batteries degrades as the battery gets lower, not just towards the end. I would highly recommend getting two "extra" batteries and keeping two in the charger and one in the device at all times.Speaking of the charger, that is probably the biggest (all things relative) disappointment here. The LED colors are inconsistent and vary based on angle. It is a silly thing, but at first I was not sure if the light I was seeing was "red", "green", or "orange" (because moving from side to side it shifted between these three). Just know that it will take several hours for the battery to charge up when depleted, and let them charge fully before unplugging it. I'm sure one could find a better quality charger for VersaPak batteries if this bothers too much. For me, it is just a very minor issue with an otherwise very satisfying and useful package.

OMG! This thing is awesome!
I generally write nice reviews about the items I buy, when they meet expectations. But this! This exceeded all of my wildest expectations! And I've only used the scouring pad. I can't wait to see what the other heads can do. Based on previous reviews, I plugged the battery in overnight.I have a small toothbrush looking scrubber that I've been using for the grout in the tiled shower. Recently I added a squeegee to help dry the tiles faster, so I wouldn't have to scrub the grout as often. But I still had a problem with the soap scum on the face of the tiles. Picked this up hoping it would do better than the other things I've tried. OMG you guys! This thing was fantastic! With an overnight charge, the battery power is great. It doesn't stop when you start to put a little muscle into it. It kept spinning at a good speed. Actually, I found that it works so well, that I don't need to put much muscle into it. I've used it on the enameled sink in the kitchen, which starts to stain if you leave anything in it for more than 5 minutes. I've had to use baking soda and a rag, and really put some elbow grease into getting it clean. This scrubber does want to squirrel around if you don't hold it steady, and it's not great at corners or holes. But DAMN! Baby, where have you been all my life! And no, I'm not getting paid for this review, or getting it free it try out. I paid full price here, and it was worth every penny.

I really like it!
I really like this scrubber. I had the Black and Decker Scum Buster several years ago, and this scrubber is very similar. I used it to scrub a basement shower that had soap and water scum that I couldn't get off any other way. Most of it is off now, although I had to do it twice. Over all, it was much easer than using a scouring soap pad and scrubbing with all my weight into it.. I gave it a 4 star rating because it only came with one battery. I ordered the Black and Decker ExpertPower® 3.6v 1300mAh NiCd Battery that works perfect with it as a spare. I especially liked the hard thin bristles that worked to clean between the seams of the shower to remove the mildew. If I can give anyone a tip on cleaning a shower or tub, it would be this: On a fiberglass tub or stall, forget all the cleaners and chemicals products that are made for bathrooms! Believe it or not, spray a can of fume free Easy Off Oven cleaner on the surface and wait for approximately 20 minutes. Then take the scrubber and let it take the grime off. Then rinse. (Tip about the oven cleaner came from my sister). Works pretty good without all the work. The Easy Off also works excellent on the glass doors if there are any. Just be sure to use the "fume free" type. Happy Cleaning! :)

perfect A+ Recommend this!
After 10 years of not being able to get my impossibly-dirt-stained tub clean, this pretty much did the job with a water/scouring powder paste. It is exactly what I was looking for- in fact I've rarely been so happy with a purchase.Let me review what makes this such a great cleaning tool:- easy grip handle, comfortable to use. Solid and well made- very good torque and power, no complaints at all- quality bristles and many interchangeable heads, which are a snap to switch- decent long lasting battery. It includes a charger for 2- I bought a 2nd battery on Ebay for backup but still haven't needed it once- cleverly designed to be completely waterproof while cleaning in the bathroom- other brushes included you can use to clean around sink, scouring, detailing, whatever. Even wire brushes you can use to clean outdoor grill or scouring pads for ovens (replacements are cheap)- affordable price (under $50). Great value for the moneyI have a few rental units and I bought a 2nd to use for cleaning apartments in between tenants. I looked a very long time at a lot of these motor products before I decided on this one- lucked out this is the cat's meow imo. We'll see how it holds up. I'll update if any problems!
