Rockford Fosgate P142 Punch 4" 2-Way Coaxial Full Range Speakers - Black (Pair)

I bought these speakers for the left and right dashboard mounted speakers in my 93 Toyota Pickup. With the limited amount of space I had to work with I did not have many options but these fit the space perfectly! The sound quality and clarity is awesome for the size of the speakers, couldn't ask for anything better for my application. Rockford Fosgate has always impressed me with their high quality products and very reasonable prices. I am already planning more upgrades for not only this truck but also planning out a Rockford system for my other vehicle as well.

Greetings from Singapore...I was looking for a suitable pair to upgrade the stock front speakers. Look n saw n read several brands n reviews. The most concerning part is the size as the mounting hole is for a 4.5inch driver. Well, found this P142 just nice to fill up as the surrounding plastic mount is bigger in diameter.As it’s a Rockford Fosgate...the build is solid n look pro. The sound is crispy, tight and open. Much better than the stock unit. I’ll consider changing the rear pair to these when I hv time to do so.

Extremely happy with these speakers and I will be purchasing some for my car. I bought the 4 inch coaxial pair for a small project I wanted to do. Essentially, I installed them in a small sealed cube enclosure to use as computer speakers powered by a folsi amp and paired along with my active subwoofer. Sound quality is great and crisp especially when tuned with the right EQ settings. Recommend!

I put these in my '91 4Runner and they sound fantastic. The highs and mids delivered from this 4" coaxial speaker are clean and very impressive. When I pulled my old aftermarket speakers and compared them to these, they were dwarfed in size and overall quality. They were a tight fit, but they actually mounted up perfectly with the stock holes. I'd highly recommend them if you've been disappointed with the lack of sound quality from other brands.

I have a new L28 articulated loader that has two 4" speakers mounted just behind the seat in the ceiling of the cab. Being that the cab is all steel and glass the acoustics are terrible. I added some sound insulation behind the speakers when I replaced the factory speakers with the RF units. The sound quality has improved and there is no distortion as the factory speakers spewed at med-high volumes.They perform even better when the engine is off and one is working outside of the cab. Inside the cab with the motor running it is still hard to hear as the diesel engine is right behind the operator cab. If I really need to listen, I use my hearing protectors with radio & Bluetooth.

Ordered 3 sets of Rockford Fosgate speakers. (2) 6.5", (2) 4", and (2) tweeters! All speakers are perfect except one of the 6.5" speakers. It is blown. Just got the speakers installed and turned my radio on just to hear a busted cone. I left one review already but it got deleted somehow... 😑

These are great speakers for classical music or rock & roll.I drive two in the left channel and two in the right.All speakers are mounted in cabinets.Each pair is driven off the same line from a Yamaha A-S801 power amp.Each channel also has a 10 inch woofer to supplement the bass.Best stereo I ever had.

Just received today. Prior to full install I wired the speakers up and turned on radio to verify sound quality. One of the speakers has a separated cone and sounds as if blown (like ther is a piece of something buzzing around on the cone. The other one sounds great.
