Works with my Laney amplifier for switching boost and channels.

Works like a charm, like Hosa products usually do.
Works like a charm, like Hosa products usually do. I needed to be able to switch a harmonizer on and off as well as change the presets, and this pedal lets me do both. I don't know that I would take it on a world-tour, but for weekly local gigs, it is perfect.

Hosa 2 button switch.
For channel switching & reverb on older Laney LC30. Works great!Purchased this amp 15 years ago without the original 2 button footswitch. Used an old Peavy switch for years until it gave out. This Hosa switch is great. Solidly built.Works as it should. Very pleased!

Let's open it up and have a look...
The main case is rigid aluminum. Two plastic side panels are held on with 3 screws each. The sides will probably break if the unit is dropped, but will withstand normal stomping. The flat bottom panel is a flat piece of steel that slides snuggly into grooves on the aluminum chassis. There are two strips of semi-firm rubber on the bottom which are a bit too smooth to prevent the switch for sliding around.Inside the unit, the latching switches are SPDT (single-pole, double-throw) with the common lug and one side lug connected to the jack. The jack is a single TRS plastic panel mount component. One switch is connected to the TIP and the other to the RING. Some devices might expect a TRS plug for their switch inputs. Some will require two TS plugs. In the latter case, you will need a 1/4" stereo (TRS) to dual mono (TS) "Y" cable or the equivalent adapters to use both switches. As a side note, the SPDT switches give you the option to wire them to a second SPDT momentary switch and have them work together. I just finished this mod and now have four buttons the top two are the original latching buttons and the lower two are momentary. The top switch reverses the state of the lower. It's useful when you want chose between making a temporary change or latching it on/off. If you want to know more about this mod, ask in the comments.Overall, I'm satisfied with this product. For the price, it's fine.

Great Value. Works with Blackstar HT-5R MKII
This is a great, sturdy foot pedal for amps. It is compatible with both the Blackstar HT-1R MKII and the HT-5R MKII. I got the bundle with the stereo TRS cable for $5 more.

Reasonably Priced Foot Switch
I have a Boss Katana MkII 50 watt amp and have been wanting a foot switch that will work with it that wasn't as expensive as Boss pedals. This switch fit the bill. It's as simple as they come. Plug and play. Just make sure you have the correct patch cable.I am a bedroom player and am pretty gentle on equipment, but it's nice to have something solid. It also seems to be repairable which is an added plus.Overall, I am very happy with the product and would recommend it for casual players. It's built well, has some weight to it, and is reasonably priced.

doesn't work the way I would like
This switch works fine, Except, I always have to push the switch button twice to get it to change channels, or switch the reverb on/off. It's annoying to switch by pushing the button twice so it's ready to switch!
