Yes! Some grew!
There were about 150 seeds instead of the 100 advertized. I live in central florida where sugar cane was grown in the past. I used a Jiffy green house to start them. I've gotten 7 of the seeds to grow. They either come up in a week or not at all. I have tried several methods: soaking for two days and coating with transplant enzyme- didn't seem to matter. I've learned that propogation by seed is hard and not the usual method to grow sugar cane. Bottom line- I have sugar cane that seems to be growing well (plants are 8" tall in 2 weeks). Just not a lot of them. Also learned that sugar cane is an ancient hybrid that can revert from seed to any of the previous genus so will i get red-green plants- don't know yet.
