I take this with seed anise (no it's not the same difference plant) to help with menopause and it has cut down on my hot flashes, night sweats and all the other lovely things that go with that. And while I'm not a Dr and it may not work for everyone it's worked for me.

For any women having hot flashes, these are amazing!! Went from having upwards of 15 hot flashes a day to having ZERO hot flashes within two days of starting to take these! I took one in the morning and one in the evening to start, but now I'm only taking one a day and it still is working. TOTAL GAME CHANGER!! (Side note, I also found that sage capsules get rid of night sweats, but doesn't work as well on hot flashes, for some reason.)

Snake oil for my wife's hot flashes if you are looking for relief these over the counter things like this do not work.

As it is with most supplements, you have no idea whether or not you're really getting what you thought you paid for. And you have no idea whether or not it's having any sort of beneficial effect on your body.

I bought this product because anise seed is supposed to help reduce hot flashes. I took it for 2 weeks. Had NO effect on the hot flashes, but it did cause me to gain weight. I’ve read that anise seed is estrogenic & this is probably what caused me to gain weight, since estrogen causes water retention. I discontinued it & the pounds I gained are slowly going away now.
