NOT COTTON! But very nice anyway.
Very Nice, but NOT 100% COTTON! Put a flame to a tassel and you will see it melt, ball up, and drip molten material. Must be polyester or blend of synthetics. They advertise it as cotton, but the one I received was definately not. If that is not a concern for you, read on...This is a very solid material. It is slightly scratchy. Might be some wool, or goat hair, or camel hair in it, who knows? It does not come with a label for country of manufacture or materials. The scratchiness might go away after a couple washings. It is not exactly square, but nice and large, a full 44 inches not counting the tassels, which by the way are longer than tassels of some other shemaghs, and all four sides are tassled. Some other brands only have tassels on two sides. This Shemagh arrived properly packaged and it was clean and neat and did not have any foul odors or nasty stains. When I washed it, the color did not fade (Green and Black). I washed it by hand first, expecting the dyes to run, but they did not. After first use, I washed it in the the washing machine along with my towels, and still no fading can be seen. Here are some washing tips: I used one of those little zipper bags that my wife uses for delicate items, just to make sure it didn't get pulled apart in the washing machine. The open weave of these fabrics can get snagged on the machine or on zippers if you wash it with other items. Use cold water only. Don't put it in the dryer unless you want to tempt your fate with shrinkage. Just hang it up somewhere and let it dry. The fabric is thin, so they air dry pretty fast anyway. If you don't mind synthetic fibers, this Shemagh will do the job, and with that in mind I give it five stars.

Nice For The Cold
Pros:- Comes exactly as shown (I got the black/grey Shemagh)- Blocks winter wind well- Light weight- Surprisingly very warmCons:- Decent construction; there are many loose ends to the Shemagh I ordered that often get stuck on the zipper of the jacket pocket I keep it in. This causes it to tighten up on certain threads (which you can just pull back to normal).- From closer inspection, the Shemagh's different threads for some of the colors are not actually fully sown into one another, it looks frail at this level (the different colors only slightly layer).Misc.- It is BIG (as told in the dimensions)Summary:A good product for cold weather that can be used as directed as a Shemagh, or as a scarf or bandanna. Close up, the construction might not look fantastic, but it hasn't disappointed me yet otherwise (great for the cold and wind).*************UPDATE**************If you intend to actually wear this a Shemagh in the U.S., I might recommend that you don't. Based off of personal experience, one time at night I was walking by a woman and she screamed (x.x"---maybe thinking I was a terrorist or something)... unless that's the kind of reaction you want, you might want to just use this a a bandanna or scarf.

The material is very nice.
The media could not be loaded. I like that this comes in many, many different colors. These are gorgeous. You can definitely match them with multiple outfits which is a huge plus. I wear a lot if white, black, beige, browns, etc so the color I chose is perfect. The material is a bit thicker, and would definitely keep sand, dust, and snow out of your face, however is very absorbent. The look of this is very nice. The size is huge so you have multiple ways to wear it. This is an amazing product 👏.

High Quality Shemagh / Thick, well sewn
The color is vibrant. This Shemagh material is thicker than others I have own. well sewn.I live in Florida and sweat. As a man, I wanted a stylish loose, light scarf that I could use if necessary to shade my head and face or to wipe sweat from my head and face.I just got to figure out the best way to wear it as a scarf. And what types of shirts go with it. I never worn a scarf before, so it is awkward trying to get the "cool scarf guy look" down.

Shemagh Everyday Carry
I really enjoy my Shemagh. I live in CO, and the fall cold snap hasn't affected me in the slightest with this thing on. People are complaining about it not being super soft.. When it was designed (It is traditionally called a Keffiyeh), they didn't have stuff like 'Microfleece'. Regardless, It's a multi-purpose scarf/head wrap that you should carry or wear every day. These scarfs have almost unlimited uses. Here's a few examples:Dust Protection. Cover your face on motorcycles, truck beds, and tops of chicken buses.Sun Protection. Great for when you’re stranded in mid-day heat without shade nearby.Towel. Small, lightweight, fast drying, but thick enough get the job done. Perfect for the beach.Warmth. Wrap it around your neck as a scarf on the top of a mountain.Bag. Lay it out, put stuff in middle, tie four corners together. Instant hobo sack.Sarong. While shorter than a normal one, it can still be wrapped around your waist.Sweat Rag. Great for hiking, running, or other sweat-inducing activities.Arm Sling. Sprain a wrist or break an arm? Perfect for temporary immobilization.Emergency Bandage. Help stop bleeding and protect the wound until you get to a hospital.Pillow. Thick & soft enough to ball up and sleep with on bus rides or camping trips.Weapon. Twist a big rock up in the middle, and you have an instant self-defense tool!Concealment. Hide valuables on your personRope. Long enough to be rolled up to tie things together.Water Filter. Fold up multiple times and filter debris out of water before boiling.Keeping Cool. Soak in cold water and wrap around your neck.Signal Flag. Large enough to wave and get someone’s attention.Blanket. Good for covering your upper or lower body..Pot Holder. Take that boiling water you just filtered off the fire.Eye Mask. Sleep during the day or in a hostel when lights are on.

Very nice.
Nice but then weave. The length is a bit too small for me but makes for a nice stylish scarf.
