Dear Friend, The front and rear cameras can be recorded simultaneously. You can press the "up" key to switch the screens of the three , the front screen, the rear screen, the front and back screens. You can use this button to view the picture you want to see, it is recorded at the same time. The front camera is full HD, and the rear camera is HD. Wish my answer will be helpful for you. no once you connect the parking mode it will work

Q: Where do you place the rear camera?on the back window or by the license plate. Sprry I’m not mechanically inclined.

If you have a truck placing it on the bumper/hitch would be the best bet. If you have any other car it’s totally up to you where you want to place it.
