I love this beautiful pot. I've wanted a cute pink tea kettle with a vintage look and this one does it for me. I was also pleasantly surprised that the handle does not get hot! But be careful pushing back the whistle sprout as it does get quite hot so handle with care

I dont know where all these strong positive reviews come from. Id return this if I could. Color is great, seems "solid", but the handle becomes too hot to touch quickly, and same with the pour spout lid, which you need to touch to pour. Bad design. Further, the spring inside that allows for "whistle" broke and Im not even sure why that design was necessary. Purchase something else.

Waste of money
Makes no sense to have a tea kettle with a spout covering that overheats within seconds, making it too hot to touch to release in order to pour the tea out... very low standard/poor and impracticable design for a high/well above standard price

inaccurate color and hot handle
I was very excited about this tea pot, I was looking for a blush pink one for a while and I thought this would be perfect. The handle gets very very hot, I need an oven mitt to pour it. The blush pink color shown was not accurate with what we received. Ours looks white, it has a very light pink hue to it when you look in the correct lighting.
