Snug fit.
Took a bit to get it all the way onto the gun, but it's a nice tight fit and doing it's job so far.

Effective.
A smart investment for an expensive impact. Rather than have your tool wear down from dirt and scratches you can have these boots get nasty and then simply change it out for a new one. No harm done and it extends the life of the impact drastically. Be aware that oil and fluids can become trapped within the boot should the impact itself get splashed on or used with oil covered hands. Practice good hygiene and you have nothing to worry about.

Fits like a glove
I initially tried to slip it on with out preparing it first no go. I laid it in a hot water bath for 20 minutes and it went on very easy. Already have a few scuffs on it so it works

Works for what I need
I'm a mechanic and I rather never pay for the big tool truck brand impact guns so I go to Lowe's and get the kobalt 1/2 air impact gun the only problem I've ever had was I couldn't find a good impact gun cover that would work but I got this Ingersoll Rand impact cover and it fit just fine it took a little effort on it but it works.

A must have if you own the tool
If you buy the 1/2 in impact wrench, definitely buy this to go with it. Saves a lot of wear and tear on tool and your hands. It does not come with the tool though I have seen it on pictures of the tool.

Fits my IR 2235 perfectly
Purchased this product for my IR 2235ti impact gun, and it's well worth the cost. Fits perfectly, and looks to made from quality material. I would recommend heating this boot up a little to ease installation. Letting it sit out in the sun on a warm day would work well enough. Very satisfied with this product and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to add some exterior protection to 2235 series IR impact gun.

Perfect fit, good quality material, I use a air dryer instead of hot water like some suggest to slip this "Boot" over my 2235 QTiMax air impact wrench, perfect K.I.S.S way to do it! :-)

Very good cover to protect you IR 1/2 inch air gun . I just love it . It fits perfectly . Value if money . they should make one for 3/8 air guns also👍
