Worked just as expected
If you are planning to tile over an existing shower floor, this is exactly what you need along with the Westbrass shower strainer set with tile square. It seems expensive for what it is, but completely fulfills its purpose. After ensuring the proper fit-up and number of gaskets needed, I added a slight layer of silicone on the top and bottom side of the gasket to ensure there would be no leakage whatsoever. There is a YouTube installation video that is invaluable.

This item met all my expectations. I used it to raise the drain in a shower,where I was tiling over the existing tile.

Super easy to use! Did the trick
This drain extender worked perfectly. I literally followed the instructions on the package, and it took me a total of 5 minutes. I would suggest this to anyone who is tiling over existing tile.

Great Solution!
We decided to tile over our existing shower tile (which was in good shape but very dated) and the Extend-O-Drain was the solution we needed! I purchased 2 just in case but one kit was all we needed to raise the drain to match the new tile. Easy to install - no need for a plumber.

The product is OK except you have to purchase it using the mounting hole dimensions, which I did. They did not specify the diameter of the ring or rubber seals which I tried to find out so I could make sure it would fit. So, when I went to install it, the mounting hole dimension was fine, but the diameter of the ring and seals were too small for my drain and it was totally useless for me.
