This dry shampoo is fantastic. Gives me at least 2 days longer without having to wash my hair. It works great and smells amazing.I love that there’s no harmful chemicals like butane in it. I don’t want to put a butane-based product on my scalp.I’ve been impressed with every product I’ve purchased from Virtue.

This product caught my attention for several reasons. It is made in the US in the state where I reside (so supporting a local business makes sense), it's different then other haircare products (most of which are chemical based), and I was intrigued by the information provided (but somewhat skeptical). I decided to take a chance because I had travel planned and felt the Refresh Shampoo by Virtue would be easy to pack and a quick solution when it just wasn't practical or timely to wash and style. I had been concerned that the dry shampoo would put a haze on my brown hair making it look as though I was beginning to go gray. Happily the spary is totally undetectable. I found the fragrance pleasant but initially it was little too strong for my liking. A while after using this product the fragrance was detectable but no longer as strong. This is a product I will use and recommend. It gave my lank hair body, fullness and shine and is a real time saver. It's rare that a product lives up to the hype; I'm so happy this one does.

perfect for my needs

I have black hair so I'm always looking for a dry shampoo that does not leave a white powdery residue. I have tried a few different dry shampoos from cheap grocery store brands and more expensive ones that you get at the salon, including Living Proof. Living Proof works well but takes a bit of work to get the white powdery look to go away. That would be fine but I'm working mom of two kids and I don't have that kind of time in the morning. I've been following Virtue on social media. Their story is interesting but I wasn't 100% sold on the biotech angle. I didn't know if this synthetic protein actually worked. And I still don't. But this dry shampoo smells great. It's a complex scent that smells expensive and more like perfume. Definitely doesn't smell like other dry shampoos. And it works. It doesn't give you crazy volume but it adds texture without making your hair powdery white. It reduced the greasy look so my hair doesn't look dirty. My biggest problem is the price. This is expensive. So I gave it 4 stars because it does exactly what it says it would. And it smells great. But the price is pretty steep for dry shampoo. They don't offer subscribe and save or larger value packs. I'll have to think really hard before I purchase another bottle.

Perfect for oily hair between washings.

I really like the product but it wouldn't allow me to use until spray can was empty. Can just blew out air and no product even though I could feel the liquid and can got really cold.

Easy to use

I just want to start by saying I LOVE the Virtue products I have tried to so far. I had high expectations for this product, so the price was OK if it had the same effects as other products. I have to say, the size for the price is good and the smell is good, but I didn't notice a difference when I used it on my hair. I have very thin hair and have a problem finding a good dry shampoo. I spray it on and massage it, but I have to use a lot to see any results. This hasn't changed my mine on this brand b/c I like it, but dry shampoos are hard to get right for certain hair types. This one didn't work for me.
