One GREAT power supply!
I purchased two of these supplies and both of them worked right out of the box. One has been on continues duty now for over a month with no problems at all. This supply is built like a tank - my three power meters all agree that the output voltage was right on the nose at 13.8 volts. One supply is currently running a VHF 2m radio at 35 watts, a TNC3+, a netbook computer and a DC to AC converter for the netbook. Also a battery charger/AC power failure to DC battery switch. The power supply runs cool to the touch. I could not be more happy with the results and the price is right!

this little PS is very good. It is small
For the price, this little PS is very good. It is small, quiet and puts out steady DC power. The addition of an inline fuse a the output might be a good idea.

Nice Power Supply for Ham Radio
Has performed exactly as expected. Great value. Used it for a 10a 50w mobile Ham Radio. When running the radio at max power this power unit is pushing 9.8a and a constant 13.7 VDC. Quiet. Simple. Effective. Great little power supply

Works fine
I use the power supply as the DC power source of a DC Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for a backup sump pump which draws 6A max. The power supply voltage is 13.72V (measured by an accurate digital multi meter) which is a little lower than the advertised 13.8v. It is well built and operates quietly, no humming noise. The lighted power switch should be brighter.

Worked good
right up to the time I connected a ground rod to the radio. Loud zap and dead. Blown fuse, replaced fuse and it blew again as soon as switch was flipped. It’s dead. Fortunately it didn’t take a new $1200 radio with it. I wouldn’t buy another and I wouldn’t recommend it. Radio works just fine on another brand power supply, ground connection and all.BTW, radio pulled 2 amps and only got 4 hours of use. Such a deal for 70 bucks. When it did work it put out a clean 13.8 volts.Update: Finally got license and can transmit only to find out that I can't. When power supply blew it took most of the transmitter with it. I can't say enough bad about this thing, wish I never bought it.

Works great.
Voltage is spot on, no fan, use it to power a GOHZ 12v to 220v 50hz 300 watt converter for a lenco L75 (19 watts) turntable. Tried a switching supply and it was too noisy. Works great.

There is a slight noise
Works well enough. But there is an audible noise. No high pitched noise like a radioshack power supply I used some years back, just a quiet hum.
