This is a great item and I especially like that I can remove it from the watch band feature if I like and then put velcro on the back and put it anywhere I want it.

This is not a must have. It has a lot to do with where you locate your camera. I'm not sure it works a 100 % of the time. I have my camera on the windscreen so I could see it and I don't think it turn the record on every time I used it. It may have been me. Amazon's price made it worth trying but I would never pay the original price

It works great and easy to connect, I do wish it had a better option to mount on my handlebars and that’s why only 4 stars.

Sometimes it doesn't work but for the most part it works. Just have to check status light on camera to make sure it didn't misfire.

Lo he comprado para mi Ghost XL y no hay nada en el menú que indique donde emparejarlo con la pulsera, tal vez solo sea para la XL PRO y la 4K. El vendedor debería ser honesto y decir que no funciona con la XL y si es así entonces brindar instrucciones precisas de como hacerlo.

Does not work. I first unboxed it and it linked right up with the camera. Mounted the camera and later went for a ride, was clicking away thinking I was taking pictures, nothing. Went back in to settings, nothing paired. Reset the camera and tried to re-pair no luck. Randomly a week later the remote automatically connects and it's working, until I turn the camera off and back on, has never reconnected since. Went thru mfg tech support replaced batteries reset and tried to reconnect... nothing. I travel so I'm only home once every 2 weeks. By the time I finished the tech support and traveling the window to return closed and I can't even return.

I was told this would work for my 4k ghost drift but it won't seen to link to it the instructions tell me how but it's now what happens I don't even see what the instructions are telling me to do. I think this is totally bogus.

this is extremely difficult to pair with camera , hard to even find it in menu & you have to redo each time you turn camera off, very frustrating

I bought this to let me start and stop my Ghost XL Pro without stopping my motorcycle or feeling around in a blind spot on the side of my helmet. It paired easily and works, although the Bluetooth connection in the camera takes about 10 seconds to turn on which is irritating. As an accessory to an action camera I expected the strap to fit over a glove but, no, it was barely long enough to go around my wrist - about three inches too short. The strap is flexible so could not be easily fixed but I managed to extend it by buying another strap and using the half with a buckle to fasten onto the holes in the existing strap then, having punched new holes, attaching the new strap to the existing buckle.I am aware that the unit can be removed from the strap but then the question arises where are how to mount it on my motorcycle. Velcro is the obvious answer but the battery door takes up most of the back and I was not convinced the area outside it would provide a secure mount.I'm rather in two minds about this. It works as advertised but, IMO, hasn't been fully thought through by its designers.

Tried it in clone mode too, only need to connect to the Master.. works great. Recommended.

Bought for use with new Drift Ghost XL, which came without remote. I use the camera on my motorbike for training/coaching purposes.The unit paired easily and appears to be fully functioning. Will update on issue of battery life, previous model used rechargeable battery whereas this type uses disposable battery, a backward step in my opinion.Having now used it a few times it is also worth noting that the Stop button is much smaller than the Start - quite difficult to use with gloves on - even thin ones.Because of the battery access location, it's also not possible to use without the wrist strap. I'm considering cutting the strap off to allow Velcro mounting

Useful device however the strap supplied will nowhere near fit around your wrist over your jacket. It will fit around your wrist ok but who the hell is going to try and roll their sleeve up and turn gloves down to get at it whilst riding???? Too short for over jacket and too long to fit over handlebar.I ended up wrapping it around a quad lock with an additional tie wrap.
