Heavy Duty Dog Crate Cage Kennel Playpen Large Strong Metal for Large Dogs and Pets with Patent Lock and Four Lockable Wheels, Easy to Assemble

This kennel is really big and does a good job at keeping my German shepherd puppy safe it is kind of hard to clean and it's really big much bigger than expected but it is sturdy and easy to assemble I was able to assemble it in less than 30 minutes with my husband. It's such a good kennel to move around because it has wheels I bought another one for my other German shepherd.

My dogs and I love this kennel! Before I had this kennel, I had a basic kennel that my dogs could easily rip open at the sides and escape (zip ties were a hilarious attempt to stop that). After the boys escaped their kennel one day while I was at work and ripped out an entire room of carpet, I knew it was time to invest money in a good kennel to save my house. My dogs haven’t been able to get out of this kennel at all, and there are no signs of damage showing that they have attempted to do so (note: I’ve had this kennel for three months). Initially, my dogs weren't too fond of the barred flooring of this kennel. I went to Petco, and, since my dogs are destructive, they recommended that instead of buying a dog bed I buy some clearance fabric at JoAnn’s (note I have tried K9 Ballistics, and that bed lasted less than 30 minutes). The boys love their kennel now; I even find them hanging out in it even while I’m home sometimes. If you’re looking for something easily portable this isn’t it, but it definitely checks off every other box. I plan to buy an additional kennel from this company to keep at my boyfriends house!

Overall the crate seems very strong and durable. Assembly was not that difficult, but is aided by having a second person for a couple of steps. The assembly instructions were extremely minimal. The shipping packaging left a lot to be desired as the only padding for this heavy, metal crate was some very thin sheets of foam - no corner reinforcement or anything else to cushion the product in transport. One panel was slightly bent and a couple of spots had the finish chipped off when it arrived. Shipping took longer than expected and though the initial information given to us was a FedEx tracking number that never worked in the FedEx tracking website the package was delivered by UPS. I'll be leaving feedback for the seller that goes into more about those issues. I'll return here later if the crate doesn't hold up over time, but for now we're happy to have a better crate for our pup and her separation anxiety issues.

We love our crate. We have a 65lb Australian Shepherd that has super separation anxiety. He is not able to get out of this crate. He has gone through several of the wire/plastic crates and would easily get out of those. We leave the door open when we are home and he happily goes in and lays down. He wouldn't do this with other crates. He cannot reach the locks either as the slats near locks are narrower. And, there are holes on both latches to add a carabiner as extra security. We only use one carabiner. He cannot pull or bend the bars on this crate. There are two drawback to me. Because it's heavy duty, it's super heavy and not ideal for moving between up & down the stairs. And, the other is the bottom is all slats. My guy is has big paws and this isn't really an issue but for smaller dogs you will definitely need a pad. We added a mat to our crate for added comfort. We are planning on purchasing a second one for our downstairs.

This heavy-duty kennel arrived in good condition. There were a couple of screws that worked themselves out during shipment that were easily re-installed. The instructions left something to be desired, but once we understood where everything went, it was assembled with ease. Our 60-pound super-strong shepherd can sit up and lay down comfortably. The pans below catch the water bowl that was chewed through and bits and pieces of her bedding, but so far she is adjusting. This is a big kennel, so the wheels allow it to be moved around when needed, and it looks good too. Very happy with this purchase.

Only issue was the box it came in was super damaged and had holes, one bolt was missing but easily was able to be replaced. Handled my dog great during 4th of July, normally he's able to destroy kennels easily and wreaks the house but he couldn't make a dent in this one also I think he felt more secure in it because he wasn't even circling in it or panting. He goes in it on his own to to sleep so I guess he likes it, just glad I didn't end up needing those $1,000 impact crates

This may be lengthy, but if you love your dog unconditionally and cringe at the thought of being without them please take the time to read, especially if they have severe separation anxiety when you are gone. I got this kennel with the promise and understanding that it would be strong enough to keep my dog safe. It was strong, and my dog WAS safe, until the day he wasn’t. My reasons for searching for a kennel of this description was because even left in a room freely, if I was gone, he wanted to find me, and would do anything to be able to. A few days ago, my dog forcefully jumped while I was gone, lodging his head between the steel where the two points meet, breaking his neck and leaving him to be found lifeless when I got home. Anyone who has a dog with severe anxiety should not get this kennel, find an alternative solution.
