Good quality, strong, ratchet.
Bought for my wife who doesn't have a great deal of strength in her hands. Ratchet secateurs are ideal and maintain their position to allow a progressive cut.Ideal for pruning tougher stems of rose bushes, etc.

Better quality than previous versions
I find ratchet secateurs invaluable when working in the garden and have had several pairs over the years but they eventually either get accidentally thrown away with the rubbish or the ratchet wears out. These seem a bit better quality than I'm used to and hopefully will last longer. I wish I'd removed the built in blade oiler as it fell out after a few uses never to be seen again.Update: after a month the ratchet spring broke. I purchased "7mm OD, 1mm Wire Size, 30mm Free Length" springs from Amazon (pack of 5) and replaced the broken one, easily done. Secateurs have been fine since then.

Work well but heavier than anticipated
I bought these when I lost my other secateurs (DAVAON). Luckily I found my other set this afternoon as I found these a bit heavier and not easy to use if you have small hands. I'll give them to a charity shop.

Thr ratchet works beautiful
I had a pear of ratchet secateurs before not this make but the ratchet keep playing up so I got this pair they are fantastic the ratchet works so well it cuts so easily my wife loves them although she has bad wrists ,the only thing I dislike is the lock it’s so had to operate even myself I vide it so had to unlock and lock ,I would recommend them to anyone especially with weak wrists

Blunt
Unfortunately these secateurs went blunt after one use and I only trimmed a one year old flamingo tree which is very small so very disappointing to say the least. I cannot recommend them.

Cheap and does the job, but,....
.... the locking mechanism to keep the secateurs broke and dropped off the first time I used it so I now have to keep them closed with a rubber band. They work fine though.

LIGHTWEIGHT AND EASY TO USE
Love these secateurs. Have had similar before and really pleased with them. Lightweight, ergonomic and really easy to use and cuts through quite thick roots etc.

Bramble Eater.
Fits in large, leather gloved mans hand: a lanyard would be useful to have. Satisfying mechanical noise when a novice cuts through 3 years of bramble growth for 20 minutes. More than happy so far. Packaging can be long term storage.
