Hard to ride
The video makes it look like lots of fun. But my whole family tried it out. Men and women from ages 21 to 53 and we sold it 6 months later.

Hard to ride, now lives in garage
Impossible to ride on hills unless you are an expert. Bought for my son as a birthday gift. Never could get the hang of it, though a few family members did. Basically we tossed it and are buying bikes. Also mine was defective, a pin was broken off inside the main tube and had to wait weeks for a replacement part. My son didn't really get to use his present at all and had to wait for an extra month to find out we hated it. By then too late for a refund.

Tried to like it
Both my wife and myself tried to like this product, but we just could not. We are avid bike riders, often doing 20 to 50 miles, but this was just too hard for us to master, and required too wide a sidewalk or too much of the road.

Fun form of exercise
We saw someone riding a Trikke last year on vacation and he let us try it. It is a little trickier than we guessed to get the motion right, but now the family members fight over who gets to ride.

Just Stay With It
I'm a 61 years old female with the expected girth, and a beginner. It takes time to learn but I'm confident that I will! You can find lots of helpful Trikke videos at YouTube for all ages, skill levels and people sizes!!Just type Trikke into the YouTube search bar.I'm beginning in empty parking lots but expect to graduate to shady neighborhood roads soon. I am seeing progress already at three time out. YAY!
