This is a really great anatomy book . I have just finished my anatomy and physiology course (and of course passed ),and this book was a great help. It has really good images of the heart, bones,blood and so on. It is great for on the go and has a good description .I would really recommend this book for anyone who is taking the course or will be taking . TIP -make sure to gather books and other materials before class !!!!!!!

Beautiful images and accurate portrayal of anatomical and physiological systems. Introduction to genetics and cell biology is precise. Good introductory book for lay people and children.

I read this a few pages at a time each evening to absorb one area of the body at a time. It presented things about growth and function that helped me understand things, like puberty and aging (for example wrinkled skin) that I never really thought about. Learned a bunch of little things!

The Human Body Book is scientifically correct, concise, beautifully illustrated, and still comprehensible for most literate people. Although it's packed full of facts, it's easy to read and fun to explore.
