If not all, at least a lot about asters. Good pictures. Easy writing. Very informative. Nice addition to my gardening library.

It is a delight to have a new book on the North American symphyotrichum and European asters. The Pictons previous book was well documented and referred to often, and now we have a brand new book with 101 superb photos depicting what is considered the top plants for the garden. They also advise similar asters etc. to the one under scrutiny.New names are slowly, but surely, are being accepted in the nursery trade.For any one interested in asters etc. this book is a must buy.

Like the previous book on Asters by this author (this one with his daughter) is a tremendous addition to the aster literature. Excellent photographs and lots of tips on using these plants in landscaping. Great job!

Good information on asters and includes horticultural zones. Helpful in choosing varieties and lots of information on culture.

Fab pictures of individual aster types and lovely gardens full of gorgeous asters! Glad I purchased this book. It is an eye opener and inspiring to see what can be done with this wonderful flower.
