Very expensive

I felt like an idiot spending a fortune on a garlic press! But my wrists aren’t what they used to be and I use a lot of garlic almost daily. After extensive research, and a firm resolution to return it if it wasn't perfect, I took the plunge. Pluses: no need to peel, easy to clean, easy to press, and the garlic is almost puréed. Minuses: nothing major! This is a superior product. My old OXO press is going to Oxfam.

Very expensive, so it had to be perfect. Sadly, it's not. I liked the sound of the company and the idea was good, but there are too many moving parts, so bits of garlic get lodged everywhere. It presses well, but you're then left with two pieces of metal that move outwards (supposedly to make things easier). In fact, it just doubles the bits to clean. Returned, I'm afraid.

This is a rip-off of a much better German product with a safer design. This garlic press easily pinches the user in operation and doesn't crush garlic as efficiently as it should. Avoid.
