GM Genuine Parts 15-80213 Heating and Air Conditioning Blower Motor with Wheel

Fits for 1986 corvette.

Same model number and worked as it should.

Old blower motor was loud and rumbling when you turned it on. Ordered this one to replace that. Within 10 minutes I had the old one out and new one in and running.Silent and quiet with heat at the defrost settings again etc.If you are replacing for an 86 El Camino, even though Amazon says this doesnt fit, but it was a direct fit.

This is a OEM GM HVAC fan, The fan was installed in my C10 immediately upon receipt. Slow speed is a bit noisy, but has it zero miles so far. This fan is labeled "Made in Canada", not China, but with identical appearance. The vent ports and terminal were in the same position as the previous Chinese motor. I replaced this because the fan would only blow on high speed. The cutout relay connector block for B+ melted the plastic at the terminal, indicating high current and high resistance. I think the previous motor required too much current for the old connections. The spade connectors were no longer tight, so I installed new GM style Packard 56 high current terminals on the +12v and motor wires. I replaced the resistors, relay, block and fan. This was an expensive replace everything fix, but I will never have to do it again.

Amazon said it would be delivered the next day, then kept changing the dates, all in all it took over 3 days to receive. Not too happy about that, but is was a quality part and fit perfectly on my 1995 chevy k1500 pickup.

My original blower motor was making so much noise it would scare pedestrians. The pain was removing and reinstalling the inner fender. This new motor works like the original did when I purchased it in 1979. It says that it is made in Canada which is a bonus.
