ECCO Men's Cerro Sandal

These are the best sandals I have owned. This is my second pair that I decided to purchase though the first pair is fine...I was concerned Ecco might stop making them. I am not sure how you could wear them out as my old pair has thousands of rough miles on hiking trails, biking, sidewalks, and indoors and they have been on 5 major vacations including the rain forests of Costa Rica. The leather is very nice, supportive yet flexible and pretty easy to clean and it does stretch to conform to your feet after a couple months of wear. I have had them completely soaked and covered in mud and they just clean off nicely and look fine. Furthermore, there is no material or sole separations, no broken seems, and no tears as I have seen on so many other high end sandals I have own. Note that they do run wide which is great for me. Here in Florida, your sandals get year round use and these just keep going. Highly recommended.

I'm giving the ECCO Cerro sandals five stars because they fit so well and are very comfortable right from the start. I've worn them from morning to night and feet felt great. These are my second pair of ECCO products and they both are amazing because of their long-term comfort. I based the size of the sandals on the Ecco shoe size and it worked for me. The Ecco Cerro's rugged construction makes me believe that they will last for quite some time. I had a similar pair of sandals from a different company but the bottoms came loose and one of them actually came off entirely. I used shoe glue and other types of glue but the adhesion lasted a month or so at best. I don't expect this problem with the ECCO Cerros. I highly recommend these sandals.

Love, love these "shoes"/sandals/hiking/sporting footwear. I'd never heard of Ecco until seeing a pair worn by a relative, and while looking at several brands (Teva, Rockport, etc.) what appealed to me most was the "closed toe, open side" construction, and the versatility too.I can wear black socks and people will see "sneakers" or "shoes"; just my feet, and it's like sandals with easy on/off strap, plus the toe protection. I was concerned about protection because I was headed into extreme conditions, hiking trails, walking on sharp lava fields or sea coral, riding a mule in the brush, as well as urban walking on sidewalks and sand beaches with bramble. True, it may take a little time to completely dry after getting wet- I saw that some reviewers complained - because it is Yak leather. But it wasn't bad (a few hours in sun) and the leather looks and wears well. The soles are deeply grooved to grip varied surfaces. Walking in a rain forest, playing at beach or park, or at home or around town, the open feel is great. They're supportive and airy, yet small pebbles or thorns or sharp things don't find their way to my toes. I Just can't really say anything negative. I think they're less worn out than me after some very serious extreme travel. (Also they were good for airport removal, with or without socks - it's simple, with the velcro back strap). too heavy too large

I have problems with the size and fit for this sandal. I have owned ECCO sandals for many yeas. This is my first show at ordering this show. I order two sizes and was going to send one, or both back. After about two weeks of trying sizes 45 and 46 out around and inside the house I decided to keep both. Size 45 cannot be worn with socks due to the toe. Size 46 can only be work with socks due to the toe of the sandal. They are nice but I have noticed that ECCO varies depending on what country they are made in. The quality of the materials from China and Thailand are not the same. Be fore warned. For instant, soles for the same exact shoe is harder and not as soft to the foot when the shoe is made in China. The good part is the vendor pays the shipping back if you are not satisfied with the show or they do not fit.

Excellent quality shoe that looks great. I normally wear a 12 B so I ordered the 46 narrow (B). it was both way too long and much too wide. I never wore them out of the house because I felt that if they didn't fit correctly I would not wear them very often. I love the shoe so I'm trying a smaller size (45) and hopefully it will not be as wide.

Bought these for the first time a few months ago...had another brand that was similar and less money. But decided to try this and wow what a difference ...listened to another reviewer and went got 1/2 size smaller..they run large.. It was perfect. Loved them so much that I just bought this 2nd pair! Hope Amazon keeps these in stock..I bought last one in my size. You won't go wrong on these. Very sturdy and great for everyday wear.

My husband's favourite footwear. Has not stopped wearing them since they arrived! Hard wearing and durable. I have now convinced him of the wisdom of paying just that little bit more for a good brand. More economical (and comfortable) in the long term. Satisfied customer.

These sandals by Ecco are the most comfortable I have ever worn. They are like putting on your favourite slippers yet they are tough and will take you anywhere. I don't know why Ecco haven't them on sale in the Uk. I had to get them from Germany. However I would certainly recommend them and would give them 5 star +
