Great fan and easy install
Bought two of the 24” fans to exhaust hot air from our camp’s dormitories. The were easy to install and work great, noise levels do not keep anyone from sleeping well, perfect!

Lasted 10 Months and thats all. They refuse to warranty it.
DO NOT BUY THIS FAN! THEY REFUSE TO HONOR WARRANTY.Haven't even finished making the 12 monthly payments to Amazon and now this fan is dead. I installed it roughly 6 months ago and its probably seen a total of a week of sporadic use here and there. I never just leave this thing running unless I'm in the shop. Was in the shop yesterday with the fan on its lowest setting when it sounded like the word was coming to a end. It sounded like someone suddenly stuck a stick in the fan, which is 13 feet off the ground. I didn't know such noises even existed. I ran over to the remote and was in a panic attempting to turn the thing off. It took a few seconds but I finally managed to do so. I got my ladder and climbed up to see what could of happened. The motor was very hot and it feels like the motor bearings went out. How? How in the world have these bearings went out in such a short time? I called Iliving to inquire about the warranty, and spoke to a female. She was not very helpful and very short with me. I don't want to say she was rude, but nothing like I would expect from a customer service representative. She said she'd check on it, and have to call me back. Well, no such luck so far.I then realized I purchased the Asurion Insurance when I bought the fan. I was so excited and thinking that would be the solution. Well, since its still under the supposed factory warranty they referred me to them. I quickly explained I've already attempted that route to no avail. The lady was very helpful but and started a claims process. However, it was for me to ship it off to a repair shop to have it fixed. Easier said than done. This is a 24in x 24in exhaust fan I now have to remove from my wall and ship off for possible repairs. In the mean time I have a huge hole in my shop wall. She has forwarded my request for a new unit to the appropriate department and I'm waiting to hear the results. I'll update this review once I find something more out. I'm just unsure about even putting another one of these Iliving fans up. If I had not been out there when this fan failed, I'm afraid my shop could of burned to the ground.UPDATE: Asurion was no help. Even after explaining that if I remove the fan from the wall, it will leave a gaping hole there for weeks! They insist on me removing the fan and shipping it off the be check. So, Asurion was a complete waste of money (at least on this type of purchase).iLiving was also no help at all. This is still in warranty and they are simply waiving it off as a installation problem, and refusing to honor the warranty. This thing is installed rock solid and they cant tell me what they claim is wrong with the install. They just simply say that's what it must be. I was a millwright for 10 years! I know what bad bearings sound like and this is what it is. They simply refuse to do the right thing and replace the unit. DO NOT BUY THIS FAN!Update:Iliving sent me a new motor after I purchased a new fan. Uninstaller old and installed new one. Realized the problem then. The bolt holding the fan on came loose and the fan was hitting frame. Now I have a extra fan and motor.

Looked like a Grizzly got ahold of it
The box looked like a grizzly bear got ahold of it! It had been retaped several times but by some miracle it was all intact! Nothing broke, nothing bent! We put this on my porch to pull air through the screen. I had hoped it would be quieter than it is but I can live with it and if it is in your attic, you shouldn't hear it at all. It is working like expected. Will be buying another one for our greenhouse. That was plan B if it didn't work out on the porch. Remote works great!

Worked great
The media could not be loaded. Works as it should the only issue I had was the stationary nuts for mounting they turn so needed to hold with vise grips on one side to tight bolt on the other . Box was also very beat up in shipping some minor dents that had to be straightened

I like the fan, but the remote thermostat is junk
I like the product, but the remote thermostat is junky. It is light and finicky. The fan itself is great. I've been running it for several months now with no problems.

Warning- read this before you purchase
The media could not be loaded. I have had issues with this 24" attic fan since I purchased it. The fan will run a while then slow down to almost a stand still, then start back up. They want me to get into the attic and unplug the controller and plug in the fan directly to an outlet. When I finally am able to do that the fan won't run, then they tell me the fan is out of warranty even though I first contacted them well within then warranty period. Typical Asians who only want to make a buck. If you want an American company who stands behind their product then shop elsewhere! You have been warned!Update: They finally sent me a new motor which I had to install 20 feet in the air. Got it put in and the new motor worked for a couple of weeks and now it will run for a while then slow down then start up then stop. Total crap!

Does a fair job, wish we can use both ways (Intake/Exaust)
The 24" model with thermostat and Remote works pretty well and has very low sound. I did write a review earlier which did not get posted by Amazon. I do have complaints on the shipping where one of the edges got bent, and did not like that it was coming all the way from California to the far eastern Canada- Toronto city, at a very high shipping charge. The amount of air you feel from outside my greenhouse is massive and for a while I was afraid this operates like a regular circulation fan, until I noticed the inside temperature dropped fairly. Unfortunately, one fan was not enough for my 25x25x12 feet gable greenhouse structure, when the day was 30 degrees Celsius (30x2+30=90 Fahrenheit). The cost is same for similar products from other companies if you want the thermostat and remote. Overall I loved iLiving product and also its customer support. Strongly recommend iLiving, but advise Amazon to work on shipping charges for Canadians.
