The impeller is held in by an inadequate shaft of plastic that will twist off and will break sooner than later. It’s also noisy. 6-8 months and proof.

This replacement pump works well, the only complaint is that it didn't fit with the original white case/cover that goes around it. I had to improvise and cut a couple of tabs from the case, so it it would fit.

Okay, why is thickness a thing for this item first off? I mean, obviously if the thickness isn't right on the money, I mean 5 star worthy because, wouldn't it not being a 5 star mean it didn't fit? Anyway... One YouTube video and less than an hour of your time and you too can save yourself hundreds of dollars. All you need is a screwdriver, a pair of pliers, and this part. My LG front loader washer is over ten years old and recently developed the OE error code. Checked to make sure it wasn't a drain hose or a clog issue. Did some research on the error code and found that this part is the most likely cause.Sure enough, popped the old part out and swapped it for this one. Less than an hour later I'm running a load of clothes through. And it drains like a champ.Definitely worth the money.

Easy to install .. once machine was taken apart. Shipped fast and was half the cost of the repair shop, which wouldn’t have it for three more days. All about supporting local but I needed to do laundry !

The washing machine pump was not secure in box it had open in and fallen out of the box but had it been in a protective envelope vs thin plastic it would not been damaged . If a simple piece of tape just over the top of part box might have helped . We were disparate to get laundry done so we took a chance with this cracked part . It still worked for now how long IDK . How long it will last IDK it was easy to install ,value was right but when your laundry is piled up . I had to see if it would work and it still did . I could not wait on replacement part so we took a chance . How much money is lost due to packaging. I guess Amazon got money to throw away it’s frustrating to receive damaged part when something so little could have prevented the damage . The jury still out on the value and longevity . But it’s cheaper than a new one washing machine that for sure .

We got a dreadful noise from the washer on a Friday night. It would spin but would not drain. Took a chance that it was a bad pump rather than a bad controller board, etc. - research suggested this would fit our LG WM2101HW but it was not explicitly listed - turns out this was perfect. We ordered on Friday night and had this pump in hand Saturday afternoon. Perfect replacement, it dropped right in, and even came with an extra pump filter case gasket just in case. We were back up and washing in 20 minutes with a little help from a youtube video on how to do the replacement. You can do this work yourself with only a philips screwdriver for every bit of the work, you do not need a professional. The old pump was 11 years old, so if this lasts that long, wonderful.
