Best pocket steel I have tested. I recommend, will get another. High quality compared to others. Quickly honed my hunting and pocket knives. Steel unscrews and stores inside the handle. Made in Germany. Not tapered as depicted. Quick taper at tip, see photo. 4 stars because depiction does not match actual taper.

Puts that edge right back in ALIGNMENT to a razors edge - without removing metal- the only one I've seen in a POCKET FORM that can do this- Have had two of them for over a year now and they have done this faithfully on all my knives and even some axes and big KUKRIS-GREAT little sharpeners that fit right in your shirt or pants pockets!!!!!

This is well made and works perfectly for sharpening my hoof knife, especially the hooked end. The knife has never been sharper.

Its small, its light, and its the perfect steel to have on hand when field dressing a deer. Puts a nice edge back on the knives. Cant go wrong with F. Dick
