Very nice setup
Great audio quality, range. Comfortable on the ear. Being able to plug into my desktop phone and computer at the same time is fantastic (I need the ability to do voice on a headset on both), the switching is seamless.

Good solid headset
I will start out by saying that I've never used a perfect headset but this one comes close. The range far exceeds any bluetooth headset on the market and the durability is above average. I use these with polycom 335's and they work great (the new polycoms have jabra EHS support built in). NOTE: For the polycom 335's (and probably other voip phones) to allow the headset to pickup / end calls you have to have the EHS adapter for your phone - this cord is not included with the headset. Do some research and find out if it is required on your model.

Love the range on this - sound stays clear even ...
Love the range on this - sound stays clear even when in another room. No reported issues from those on the other end of the phone. Set up was easy, very compatible with the soft phone system used by employer.

Skip this one and and try the 6470
I bought this headset a replacement for a Plantronics CS540 Plantronics-CS540 Convertible Wireless Headset for one of my employees. She has a few customers who have explained that the call quality on the CS540 has been lacking and when the headset finally died, i took it as a chance to try another vendor for wireless headsets. We currently using ShoreTel IP phones, so i checked the ShoreTel website and found that the Jabra line of wireless headsets would work with our phones, and they also supported absolute must: required digital lift ability.BasicsThe product quality on the Jabra headset is very nice, the instructions are excellent and the cords have a nice colour coded aspect which makes the connections a breeze. The headset is configurable for either left or right ear setup and the end of the boom is adjustable (but only the last inch or so). There are little colured led/pictograms on the charging base that tell others when the user is on the phone, which is a feature that requires additional expense on the Plantronics offerings.PerformanceSo did it perform better than the CS540? No, she hated it...So what was wrong? The boom on the headset is about 5" long and as i mentioned only the last 1 or so is adjustable, whereas the CS540 is sleek and slightly discrete, the 9450 is fast food worker obvious. On multiple occasions the user took it off when she left her desk, whereas with the CS540 she would just leave it on.Sound quality was no better that the CS540, with the same customers, having the same complaints about quality even after tweaking the mic volume the poor quality persisted. The base was another issue; the headset has to sit on its charging pedestal in a very particular manner, which means that there must be at least 3 or 4 inches behind the base, which doesn't sound like much, however, in the cubicle wall world, that means losing desk space that could easily be saved in the thing would horizontally across the dock as opposed to perpendicularly. In the end i gave the headset to a user who only needed wireless headset usage occasionally. If you're looking for an alternative skip the 9450 and pay the extra for the CS540 or try out the Jabra GO 6470 Bluetooth Headset with Touchscreen for Deskphone, Softphone & Mobile Phone, Jabra got it right on this one, and my user loves it!

Good product but bad fit
The headset worked well but couldn't get the right fit for over the ear wearing style. I tried the over the head style but did not like it. The boom was also very long and kept getting in the way. I just could not get used to it.

I love to hear myself talk but this is ridiculous
I found to major flaws with this item that make it a poor choice for any environment where there is ambient noise. I was able to adjust the microphone sensitivity so that the people on the other end didn't hear it. However, there is a very obnoxious echo of my own voice that comes through the headset. It makes it nearly impossible to focus on what you are saying as you hear what you just finished saying in your ear. Huge issue and rendered this headset obsolete for me.Additionally, the charging port is very poorly designed and is a little difficult to get to connect. This wouldn't have been a big flaw had there not been the issue mentioned earlier. I would return it but unfortunately I went two days over the 30 day return policy so it will sit on my desk collecting dust. I couldn't bring myself to sell it to someone as it would just be a rip off.

Chrystal Clear Sound
Replaced my old GN 9120 with this newer model because the sound quality was diminishing on the 9120. This newer Jabra Pro 9450 is much much better. I can actually hear people. It is very comfortable to have on my head, and easy to place on the charging dock.Definitely recommend.

Wonderful addition to my Cisco office Deskphone
This makes it much easier to respond to telephone calls and speak with callers. I can go to files and discuss them while I am speaking with clients. I can speak with caller while I am also speaking with other staff who have also worked on client file. I am no longer grounded to my desk chair by a telephone wire which has become wrapped around me and the chair. Takes some getting used to. It is difficult to get headset properly connected and in use when a call is made or received. Instructions designed to be multi-lingual are not well done in any language & were difficult to understand. Wireless headset has a wide range and is excellent!
