I have the cream colored towels with the bears. These towels are very soft and definitely 100% cotton. I've been using them since day 1 on my son who is now 7 months old but about the size of a 12 month old. Still covers his whole body, and dries very well. I did have an incident where the colors of another towel leaked onto this one leaving all of the pieces tinted pink. I put the dyed towel back in the washer by themselves, ran a cycle, and -voila!- back to normal! I have not had any issues with fraying, shrinking, etc which usually happens to towels after a while. It might be helpful to note that I wash his towels on the gentle cycle in addition to following the washing directionsA couple things to note: the appliqués are rough. He doesn't notice it on the big towel, but the wash cloths I avoid using the two with bears on them on his face as his skin (like most babies) is sensitive. I'm not sure why they put the appliqués on two of the wash cloths.... it honestly doesn't make sense but there's an easy workaround hence the 5 star rating!Hope this review is helpful to any new parents!

Don't even think twice to buy at least one set of these. We bought several different types of wash and burp cloths from different makers and we also have some hand-me-downs from my sister and these are definitely the softest and the best wash cloths we have. They feel really soft and my daughter smiles away even when I am removing some stubborn spots on her delicate face. We have washed these twice or thrice a week for more than 3 months now and these wash cloths and the hooded towel still look really new. I am planning on buying another hooded towel made by the same manufacturer as it is good to have two hooded towels. Right now we have only one towel (this one) and this is what we have used for our baby since she was a newborn. We wash the towel twice a week and it looks nice despite that. I think it is good to have atleast one set of "soft" wash cloths as they come handy when wiping a newborn or an infant's face. To summarize, they feel great and look great. Great quality product and cute colors and design.Also, the small wash cloths are great to carry with you if you plan on traveling. We went to Canada recently and I used these wash cloths instead of a towel for my little one. You can save some space that way when packing.

First - I need to state that I purchased both the Duck set and the Whale set of these towels, and had very different results. The first - the Whale set - has continued to be soft, washed up well, did not stain, and is as adorable as the first time it was used over 7 months ago. On the other hand though, there is the Duck set - it has remained relatively soft, is cute, and does the job. However, after 4-5 months the stitching in the hooded area came apart and unraveled. I have several other towels for my baby, and no others have had such a problem. Perhaps it was just this one, but regardless, it is the reason why I am giving this towel 4 stars instead of 5.

When I made this purchase, I also got the Spasilk 10 Pack Soft Terry Washcloth set as well. Honesty though, if you're looking for washcloths, the 10-pack is much better in terms of cleaning and they are much softer than the washcloths that come with this set. It's not to say that this set is bad though. This set is actually pretty good and they look very nice. Almost too nice to use.The towel and washcloths are about the same quality you'd expect from high quality bath towels if you were to buy them from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They have nice absorbency, feel thick, and are plush to the touch. The towel is actually one of the better hooded towels I've used for my baby, as the thickness keeps her warm as I'm drying her off and prepping her for her onesies.Highly recommended.

My favorite bath towel of my daughter's was ruined one night after a bad diaper incident. I was really disappointed because it had been a baby shower gift from my mother-in-law from Pottery Barn. I went to their website to replace it but finally decided that it was too much money to spend on a towel she'll be outgrowing and could potentially ruin again. I found this set and I've been really happy with it. The towel and washcloths are really soft and absorbent, the design and colors are beautiful, and the towel is actually larger than the one it replaced which is perfect for my growing girl. After several washes it has held up very well. Out of all of her towels, this one is now my new favorite. Highly recommend this set, I'll probably be buying another one!
