Really happy with it. It has a nice wide flat base to keep it sturdy when set down. I went for the matte green colour and love the design of it. It has a great seal on the lid and, this will sound weird but it has a perfectly shaped spout that is easy to glug from!

Best water bottle I've had. Even the stanley products leak! This is hard wearing, never leaks, even when its been rattling around in a toolbox. Can't find a single point to complain about.

I had a Sigg for about 20 years before it was lost, bought this one recently and the bottle itself is fine, but the stopper doesn't screw in as well as the old one and can be cross threaded meaning it leaks.

If you want a lightweight no-nonsense bottle that doesn't leak, is easy to clean, with a reasonable opening to drink from, and is perfectly stable on a flat surface, then look no longer. After churning my way through a lot of non-insulated water bottles, this is finally the one that made me stop searching.

I only used it for gym drinking water. I washed it with detergent and a dedicated Sigg cleaning brush in every single use, and I used water bottle cleaning tablets every two weeks, but it tends to develop an odour quickly. The bottle is leakproof and looks very nice. It has a plastic inner coating called Tritan that avoids aluminium corrosion with acidic drinks. It is the safest type of plastic. However, I would avoid putting hot liquid inside to prevent plastic leaching. In addition, I worry about scrubbing the bottle with a brush too hard, which may scratch the thin plastic coating, particularly at the bottle screw thread, exposing the aluminium underneath. Now, I have switched to a stainless steel bottle that stops all the odour problems and concerns about microplastics/aluminium leaching into my water. Also, I can easily kill all the bacteria inside a stainless steel bottle using boiling water without worrying about the degradation of the plastic coating.

I love these Sigg bottles! Had several 1L ones in the past for keeping hydrated in tennis matches, but a bit too big for daily use. So I got this 600ml one which is perfect for top of handbag and to carry around in the office via the very handy loop on the secure and airtight screw lid. You will get external condensation in warm conditions but your water stays chilled for hours! And no, I'm not on commission, I just love it when a product does what it's supposed to do - and better!
