Burial

The writing in this book is really beautiful. It's impressive how the author gets so deep into the character's mind and mental state without the character doing much in the narrative of the story. This story feels like a real experience, filled with little profound moments mixed in the mental wanderings of someone going about a sad (but natural and normal) day in their life.
