I feel like a teenager again! These skates are just like the ones I grew up wearing in the rinks. I think they're absolutely wonderful. They do run a size large. I'm a 7 so I took everyone's advice and ordered a size smaller... Good job, ya'll, excellent advice. They fit great, a little stiff at the top, but nothing a little break in and well, just not lacing all the way up won't cure. They came in 2 days, in great condition & 1 left, 1 right skate (really? 2 right skates happened to someone out there? ha ha). I recomend these skates to any mom who has been thrown back into the rink by birthday skating parties for kiddies birthdays & school functions! I checked several sites & like usual, Amazon had the best price. I love you Amazon.

I had initially ordered these in a 6, I wear a 5.5. Turned out they were too big so I ordered the 5. They are a perfect fit! I had no problem exchanging them. I’m 52 and very petite, the boot fits my ankle and calf really well. The wheels are adjusted perfect for me to get comfortable on them again, and can be loosened as I get better. I bought them primarily for indoor skating, but the wheels can be changed out for outdoor use if need be. Overall Great skate! I’m very happy with them.

I purchased these skates for my girlfriend earlier this year and she has used them several times now with only one minor issue. The workmanship and construction materials are decent with the exception of the wheels. All four of the wheels were molded out-of-round and appear to wobble when you spin them...which can be felt when skating and tends to slow you down. I chucked each wheel into my drill press and used a carbide cutting bit to even them out...only took about an hour to do all of the wheels and it greatly improved the ride quality and smoothness. On the bright side, these are solid skates, the bearings are decent quality (ABEC-3) and the minor issue I noted can be overcome relatively easily and cheaply. If you don't want to mess with cutting the wheels, you may just want to purchase a higher-quality set of wheels right out of the gate (the stock wheels are also a bit on the soft side).

Solid skates for beginners.But need to be adjusted before 1st skating. Please don't suppose they are ready to roll on delivery.Thin open end wrenches helped. e.g. ASIN: B001PTF9MY. I used a thin jaw adjustable wrench, (ASIN: B08L6TS8JX), had to remove wheels, to access axle spacer nuts.Those nuts need to be checked every few hours at the break-in time.The toe stop nuts need a 24mm thin wrench. The thickness is 6mm.The wheel-nuts need a 1/2" socket.The axle spacer nuts need a 17mm thin wrench. The thickness is 4mm.The axle bolts need a 14mm wrench.Front and rear trucks are the same, interchangeable.Need to size down by one. If sneakers at lady size 7, skates might be at size 6. Or bare foot measured at 235mm long, and 85mm wide (normal width to lady size 7 sneakers), need to add 10mm to 235mm for sock / insole/ toe room. By the size chart, 245mm is size 6 skates for a comfortable fit.Many hockey websites will show you to measure feet. Foot width is important to skates. "When you put on your new skates, your toes should lightly touch the front of the boot when you're legs are straight, but should NOT touch when your knees are bent. "

Great skates. Got a six in them. Was a little bit big but wore a thick pair of socks. Solved everything. Thanks to who ever made this product.

These skates are gorgeous! I am very happy with the quality of this product. They are very nice, of course a couple of the stitches were frayed, but that is normal. It even comes with a wheel tightening tool which I was excited to see in the package. They also arrived quite quickly which I am ecstatic about! I highly suggest these skates to anyone who is just beginning like myself! Lets get our fun workout on people!Cheers!

Skates were poorly manufactured as the front wheels fell off after my daughter only skated in them once and I had to send them back.

they are perfect and cute but it presses against that ankle bone in your foot.. its a bit painful but these skates are worth it!
