I originally bought this for the many nephew's and niece's that I have visiting our family house often. Though the first people to play with it, were the parents of my latest newborn nephew and they absolutely love it, so much so that they have "borrowed" it to entertain themselves with, while I'm away for a couple of weeks abroad.The instructions booklet is a handy tool to follow but found the illustrations a bit small for younger children to follow as easily as the adults.The pieces are very well made, strong and no sharp edges anywhere at all, would be happy to leave a baby to play with the big pieces and not worry. The magnets hold well while building and also fall apart well when wanting to dismantle, a nice balance of polarity strengths.There are squares of numbers and the alphabet (one of each letter) and some symbols, which fits into the squared pieces, It would have been nice to have multiples of the letters, so the kids could have more fun with wording, rather than just learning the alphabet. These are also a nice way of using a magnetic whiteboard.To top it off, very nice to have a large string-bag to pack it away, much quicker and easier than separating and organizing shapes to fit back into the boxing again.

We got it couple years ago and my kid still enjoys playing with it. He builds houses, cities for the cars.

When these arrived I was a bit disappointed as the box was bashed and amazon had taped it with their packaging tape. All of the pieces were there and its just a little treat for my kids to make home learning a bit more fun, so I didn't bother about it. If it was for a gift, I would have been a bit more bothered about it.The product itself loses a star as bits are packed in flimsy plastic zip lock bags, I would have preferred to have some cardboard inserts inside the box or something as these don't look very professional. Other than that though, the actual blocks seem fine. They aren't as strong as the well known, a lot more expensive brand but for the price they do everything you need them too. The colours are nice and being double sided, give lots of options for designs.I am most impressed by how educational they are. Children can use their creativity to make some nice designs, logic to build structures and patterns and the additional numbers and letters are nice. We have used the squares to make 10 frames for number bonds, my son loved it and its a lot more exciting than using egg boxes!

Extremely versatile, the little one spends hours playing with it!

Avoid buying branded magformers from toy shops as they are a rip off. These are just as good, the same shapes and dimensions but you get more than double the pieces for your money. What's the compromise? Absolutely nothing because ther are not inferior in quality or function. A no brainer!

This was a massive hit with my 3 year old. They are a really good size and my daughter makes things with ease. The 72 piece makes a good tower or a castle, house ect. She loved that it can stick to a radiator and the fridge too. I would highly recommend this product
