This RC integrates two of Syma’s SC380 Type Racing motors, each coupled with cooling fans to prevent the Century from overheating while attaining top speeds. Additionally, an actuating fail-safe mechanism prevents the boat from operating while not in the water – a crucial feature for the safety of both the boat and any hapless observer. You’ll find that the boat’s superior handling makes it a joy to pilot in the calmest of seas or the stormiest of oceans. These performance tools are wrapped in a beautiful package – a luminous white hull and body, accented with blue highlights and logos, as well as vicious lightning emblem insignias emblazoned along its wings. We’ve strived to bring you as good looking of an RC as possible – imitation brown leather seats on a full-scale deck and realistic portholes, lending the Century an impressive, classy look. In fact, the deck looks so attractive we can almost imagine ourselves lounging on it in the summer sun while we leave outdated models in the wake of our dust. With the Syma Century, you’ll beat the competition and look good doing it! Package includes: (1) RC Century Racing Boat, (1) 2-Channel Remote Controller, (1) 7.2V 1800mAh Ni-Cd Rechargeable Battery, (1) A/C Wall Charger, (1) Boat Stand, (2) extra propellers, and (1) User Manual. Play time: Approx. 10 - 15 minutes per charge. Color: As shown in picture Frequency: 27MHz / 40MHz / 49MHz Dimensions: 30"L x 7.75"W x 7.5"H

Decent RC-Toy for a decent price
If you are use to playing with hobby-level RC stuff this boat may disappoint as it firmly falls into the Toy category. Its top speed is maybe 15mph but I'd guess its closer to 12mph. Also it turns one direction much better than the other. It won't drive straight and the adjustable rudder helps a little but it still needs some constant adjustments to keep it going straight. Also, the battery holder broke the first time we used it. All of that said, my 9 year old daughter had a blast driving it. I had a few extra batteries so we were out at the lake for over half an hour. If you are looking for a fast boat or a highly controllable boat this isn't it. If you just want a relatively cheap RC toy to play with I do recommend it.

it was OK!!!
The Boat took decent speed for about the first 10 mins and then slowed down to half its initial speed for another 10 mins. the total batter life was between 20 to 25 mins. It had a nice safety feature that had me a bit bugged out because I tried testing the propellers out of water and it wouldn't work... As soon as I set it in the water and accelerated, it took off. It has a sensor that detects water I guess. I had it for about 3 weeks and then my nephew ran it into a wall in the water at about half speed and a part of the propelling engine and its chassis broke off. I couldn't get my hand inside to try and repair it since the access panel under the seat is too small. It would have been excellent if it was a bit more durable. Mo'

Not Easy To Control - One Speed Only - Fast and Off
This R/C boat comes with what appears to be a pretty good control unit but even though it looks like it would control the speed it really only has one speed. It's too fast for kids and there is no slowing it down. There is go and stop. Also the directions are pretty awful as well. This was purchased as a gift and was a big disappointment.

Beware Return Policy
I initially ordered the remote boat for my grandson for Christmas 2012, then without ever opening the box decided to give it to him for his birthday in June 2013. It NEVER worked at all and I received a terse email from the Amazing Tech Depot: 30 days return policy. Sorry. This is hardly standing by your defective product.Carol Fryberger, Duluth, MN

Great boat for the money
A very affordable boat for a beginner. It turns well and goes into pulse mode when the battery life is low. The battery lasts 5 - 10 minutes so another backup is advised. It comes with two extra propellers so that was a plus. All in all its a great boat for the money.

Dead On Arrival
I was very excited to get the boat. I was impressed by the size and the looks of it.My excitement quickly vanished when I discovered that the pvc tube that is supposed to hold the antenna up was missing. I had to create my own antenna pole. Then few hours later, after charging the battery overnight, i discovered the boat did not work at all. There was not support phone number to call on the packaging or instructions, so returning it was my only option.
