SoundPal Cube F1 and Kindle Fire = happiness
Love the volume and clarity of this little guy. This is the third small bluetooth speaker I've ordered. To be honest I broke the 1st two. I thought they were fine, not knowing enough to comment on particulars. The first was dropped on carpet and everything in it rattled (cost more than this); the 2nd one was twice the cost and seemed unbreakable. It was never dropped, but it started taking days to charge and then battery quickly drained and the charger became too loose. I started searching for another small speaker and had several in my cart based on outside reviews. I think Amazon customers give the best! reviews-honest and understandable to highly technical. I didn't feel real happy with my selections so I started over using different search criteria and this wonderful SoundPal cube F1 kept showing up. The price point was/is just right (especially for 3rd try). There were lots of reviews and I read then started scanning. This F1 sounded exactly right. I'm so happy I made this purchase, it came early, was well packaged and the company stayed in constant contact by email and each email was so nice. I would buy again without doubt. I may add another to use with my laptop. Currently use with my Kindle Fire. They paired so quickly I figured I had it right - third time being the charm🍀

TERRIBLE Battery Life, Stopped charging after 5 months.
Speaker quality is decent for the price you're paying, and I love the small size. But the reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because the battery charge is TERRIBLE. Even fully charged, my iphone tells me that the battery is only 60-80% charged and the battery still drains if you leave it plugged in while using it. My last portable bluetooth device (which was around the same price point) would only need to be charged once every week or two. For the same amount of usage, I need to charge this every day, sometimes more than once. Not sure why the battery won't fully charge... maybe they sent me a used one or one that's been sitting around for years that the battery is not fresh. And it's hard to leave plugged in all the time because the charging cable they provide is super short. Pretty disappointing.UPDATE: Shortly after writing this review, it pretty much stopped charging, less than5 months after purchasing. I've only owned this for I have to angle the cord in a really weird way to get it to charge. Piece of crap. I dont know how so many people gave this good reviews.

Blu-tooth to my phone I must say this was the best purchase I made in a long time
At first I thought it was just OK. Then the power went out at my house, Blu-tooth to my phone I must say this was the best purchase I made in a long time. When the house is dead this little cube puts out the sound! Keep one charged when the power is out!

sounds good, but it's range is far less than 30 ...
Works well, sounds good, but it's range is far less than 30 feet. Just moving it across the hall to the bathroom, not 10 feet from my computer, reception gets flaky. It doesn't always connect to my BT adapter, and sometimes it looses connection. This is when it's sitting not 2 feet from the BT adapter, so there should be no problem with a connection.I don't own a cell phone, so I have no clue how well those related features work. I use the volume controls regularly and they work great. I just wish the speaker would remember where I set the volume, so it wouldn't go back to full blast when turning it on. It's pretty loud at full volume. Also I would prefer a proper volume knob, not some buttons that change a digital setting. Might have to add that myself. Old cdrom drives have a volume knob that should work nicely.I haven't used the microSD slot yet, as all my microSD cards are being used elsewhere. I'm sure it works fine, but with no screen, navigation has got to be a pain. I know this from experience with other devices. I don't know about most people, but I can't be bothered to memorize a 4 gig track list.I bought this speaker for the volume control and nothing else, because I don't like having to keep running into the house to adjust the volume when a neighbor decides to ruin a quiet day with their lawn mower.I don't like the very loud tones this thing makes when turning it on and linking it. The blue LED is all that's needed, but even then, it flashes whether connected or not, making it completely useless.I like this product and would probably buy it again if needed, but it's a shame to have to buy a bunch of features you don't want just to get a single feature that should be industry standard.Battery life could use some improvement, but it charges pretty quick from standard usb ports. It also charges while playing, which is very nice.

Just OK, better invest in a better speaker if you listen to loud music
This is one of those devices that you get what you pay for. I have a few complaints about it: it comes on at full volume every time, so getting it set up in a quiet place is really distracting and hurts my ears. The buttons are not very sensitive so you need to really push on the volume keys to get it to respond. Also, it has trouble connecting to bluetooth if it isn't fully charged. It's not as seamless as the most expensive speakers. The sound is fine, for $20 it was a good option to purchase and leave at work. It doesn't sound great as loud volumes and is best played moderately. Once again, I did not want to keep bringing my JBL speaker back and forth to work, so I bought this to leave on my desk. It's a good speaker to leave at work and not care if it gets ruined or swiped. If you want something for home use, louder volumes or a solid bluetooth connection please spend $70-100 on a better speaker. My JBL sounds great at a loud volume and the bluetooth doesn't need to be a direct line of site. The SoundPal gets disconnected very easy and is best when my phone is on the same desk.Long story short, JBL sounds much better and has better connectivity and battery life, but the SoundPal is a great and cheap option to use and abuse at work. Does it's job so it gets three stars instead of two.
