Great camera bag for people on the go
I got this bag right before going on vacation. I easily fit my Canon XTI camera, a zoom lens, and my Canon Optura digital camcorder in the main compartment. The bag has several padded dividers so that everything could remain scratch-free. The dividers are kept in place by velcro so you can adjust them to fit your camera(s) and lenses. The pouch in the front of the bag is big enough for me to carry 2 mini dv tapes for my camcorder, an extra battery, 3 Compact Flash cards, and the battery charger that came with the Canon XTI. Even with all that, there is still room left over for more stuff. The front pouch also has these red tag things that you can use to denote which memory cards or DV tapes are full. The bag felt very comfortable and I was able to carry it all day without feeling the need to take it off like a regular backpack. Since it goes across your chest it doesn't pull on your shoulders and arms like a regular backpack would. We went to Disney World and walked around from morning to night and it didn't bother me one bit.Another nice feature is that the bag opens away from you. So when I needed to grab a camera out of it I just swung it from my back to my side or front and opened the top pouch without it constantly falling close and getting in my way.The only negative thing I could think of is that when you take the bag off and set it down, it doesn't stand up on its own. You either have to lean it against the wall or lay it flat.Bottom line, this is a great bag for active photographers on the go or just folks that hate their camera bags falling off their shoulder all the time.

Just a little bit too small for SONY A6000 size camera and lenses
Weather sealing is good, fits lenses in three compartments the lens fit very snugly, an extra inch or two wider would have made this more comfortable when finding and extracting lenses, the bag is not square tapering to the bottom reduces internal storage (hence another two inches wider at bottom would have been better). The unzipping at the top is sub optimal - when trying to unzip the bag rather than a zip which unzips two inches then goes across the bag and then unzip two inches up the bag IT WOULD BE A LOT, LOT BETTER TO HAVE THE ZIP IN AN OVAL SHAPE SO THAT THE UNZIPPING COULD BE DONE IN ONE SIMPLE ACTION. I want speed and ease of use I don't want to concentrate every time I need to unzip the bag. I'll be buying another this time not on the internet. It's useful for minimal gear transport ie two lenses and polarizing filters etc for a quick trip.If you want it It can pack what they say but not easily I'm storing a Sony a 6000, 70 -200mm, 50mm, Rokinon12mm and I'm full so I need more space I should be able to get in 4 lenses into two compartments plus camera and 70 -200mm attached but the tapering at the bottom prevents that, it's annoying its just a little too small because of the tapering and it also does not stand upright because it does not have a flat base ( the taper stuffs it up)..

near-ideal camera bag
I purchased this bag about a year ago and i love it. I would consider myself an intermediate photographer. I generally carry my DSLR w/ a standard 18-135 zoom lens, a spare 50mm lens, a few standard accessories (spare battery, xfer cable, mini tripod), and a water bottle (a Nalgene sized bottle will fit, but it's tight, something a hair smaller works perfectly). One of the reasons i got the bag was because it wasn't too big or heavy, but would / could accommodate a bigger zoom lens if i ever got one. (I wasn't sure the comparable Lowepro offerings would, at least while the lens was attached to the camera body) The fact that i can stash a water bottle in there is a bonus. Of course the extra weight of the water bottle can become noticeable on one's shoulder after a while.. but.. i usually drink most of it b4 that happens...The 'sling' mechanism took a minute to get used to, but i now find I can go from the bag on my back , to shooting in just a few seconds. i have never really used the additional (waist?) strap that stashes away inside the bag, so i won't comment on it.the only (minor) complaint i would have would be the zipper on top (for the main opening) i often find myself reaching for the wrong side.. i wish it had like a 2-way zipper allowing you to open from either end...

bad design
They tried to make it sleek and modern looking but the result is the round bottom keeps you from ever setting it down without it falling over.Sometimes you just want to set it down to access your camera or accessories and it falls over. Other than wearing it you can not conveniently get at anything. There are times when you want to put it on a table while you do something and bloop over it goes. If they had just made it with a square bottom I would have loved it. The tapered sided also keeps you from storing accessory lenses along side the main camera, at least lenses of medium length. Construction is great, comfort is great, and as a swing to the front quick access bag it is also great. it's just a pain any time you take it off. Laying it flat on it's back works ok but it is a pain to access your gear that way.
