I wanted something small and light and I got it
I was expecting something just a little bigger but these seem pretty sturdy and I think they might be really good..... it will take a year or two to prove but I have confidence in these little clips. I just hope they are big enough to fit over the brass ringsIf you fly fish and want to connect fly boxes to retractors (zingers) ..... there are adhesive (cell phone tethering) patches for sale on Amazon that work nicely. I am hoping these snap hooks will quickly attach or detach from fly boxes so I can swap out boxes as the hatches change...... and leave the zingers inside my vest pockets. The “gear keeper” zingers with a threaded pin are what I use to keep everything inside my vest pocket until you pull the box out. No need for a DRing or other attachment device. I’m going to try loctite on the theads .....hopefully the pin won’t unscrew but if it does, the box is still in the pocket of the vest. I’ve used gear keeper threaded pin zingers in the past and had only one of them come off .......and it was under heavy force. I was trying to hold a substantial size trout on a boca style fish grabber and he wasn’t happy about the hook or the efforts to remove it from his lip. :-)

Small but mighty
Very strong metal and the spring that closes the latches are very sturdy. I use this for paddle boarding (tie down coolers, anchoring, mooring) great and water does not affect operation. 10/10

Well worth it
These little carbiners are metal and appear to be well made with a good spring. The bottom hole fits the paracord very well. On the larger size you can go back thru the hole which helps to keep the clip in place without having to tie a knot. One you run the paracord thru the hole all it takes to keep it on the rope is to tie a simple overhand knot. Don't forget to burn (match, lighter, stove) the ends of the paracord to prevent the ends from fraying. Be careful as the melted paracord is quite hot and will burn you! The end result though is a hardened end to the paracord.I like these alot. Have already ordered a second set. This is a very good choice if you are trying to want to use paracord to clip to something. I already had the paracord.Consider putting a loop in the paracord and using one of these clips on one end to clip back to the loop.I see a good use to tie down a tarp or possible as a bungee replacement.

Good Value
Cheap and there's enough spring tension that I haven't lost any of my stuff yet. I do wish there was a touch more spring tension.

Perfect size for Dog collars
I got these to put my dog's IDs, licenses, microchip tags, rabies tag, etc on so that i can easily transfer their info from their collars while at home to their harnesses while out and about. I also use these for my cat's harness so i can move her tags from harness to harness depending on which one we use. The smaller size is too small for her harnesses so I'll have to find another use for them. These do NOT feel like aluminum and the dogs play rough and they're not even scratched yet. I got the Large size.
