good cable

Cables are fine, a bit chunky for most 6-pin LED strips
These are great 18 AWG cables, but overall they are a bit too chunky to comfortably solder to RGB+CCT strips (at least the ones I've tried). I'd recommend a smaller wire gauge if you need to solder directly to the strips. Otherwise this is a nice, beefy cable strip that can be used in other contexts.

Great wire at a good price.
Worked great to wire up RGBW LED strips

Nice, but colors in not correct order
Nice, but colors in not correct order as my strip light. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.

these are not 18awg
not 18 awg, more like 20 or 22, otherwise meh, okaydepends on whether you really need a 18 awg wire, in my case its finekeep in mind that even this 20ish awg strip is pretty tricky to solder and it is still wider than a generic ledstrip pad spacingfor short patches i’d better use ‘22 awg’ that is actually a 24 awg

Not 18AWG - This is 22AWG
As soon as this 6 cable wire was received, I knew it wasn't 18AWG - the spool was too small, it looked to be much smaller. Unwinding it, the cable is listed as 18AWG, but looking at the copper, did not think that was right. Sure enough, grabbed a pair of strippers, stripped off the tip of several individual wires, checked wire density, it measured at 22AWG.Other than the additional cost, there is nothing wrong with the wire if you can use 22 gauge for your project. (It is priced as 18 gauge, so much more expensive than other 22AWG options on amazon.) However, if voltage drop is a problem for you, do not purchase this cable. Unfortunately, it appears that the cable has been purposely mislabeled as 18AWG in an attempt to fraudulently upcharge for a bigger wire size. For this reason, I took the time to right a review (pretty much never do) and gave it a 1 star rating for the dishonesty.By the way, I am an electrician.

Not 18 gauge wire
As another reviewer has noted, the actual wire size is smaller than 18AWG; I agree that it appears to be 22AWG. This was an important detail in my application, so I returned it - false advertising.
