LancerPac Lightweight Womens Hiking Shorts Quick Dry Active Sports Cargo Shorts for Women

Just received my 2nd pair (black) of these awesome shorts (3 days early!). Soooo comfortable, love the zipper pockets that are very roomy. I have washed (delicate) and dried (low) 1st pair (gray) more than a dozen times; still look like new. The 2nd pair are for when it gets and stays hot, so I don't have to do a load of laundry just to have my fave shorts. We've been having a rash of purse grabs in parking lots, and the pockets are generous enough to hold cell, wallet, sunglasses, keys, kleenex...stuff you'd have in one of those smallish cross-body purses (which I find uncomfortable). I'm always wondering, if I order an article of clothing, will it fit? Loathing returning stuff, took a guess on XL; they fit perfectly. Crossed fingers 2nd pair would be comparable; they are. Gotta say, the size chart is a bit off, says XL is waist 32"-34" but don't let that stop you. Taking a chance (with first order a year ago), ordered XL anyway...SCORE! Having a 42" waist, the wide elastic band still has ample stretch so these beauties fit very comfortably...snugly enough at the waist, but still have another inch or maybe two of elasticity. (This is a plus in case I gain back the weight recently lost.) Having thinner thighs, they are nicely loose in the leg too; these are very, very comfortable. Hope sizing detail help choosing size, I wish more buyers would include this type info.

Very lightweight and fast drying. Nice length that don't ride up. Tag cut out but no big deal.Like the zippered pockets for active wear. Don't like drawstrings, so was pleasantly surprised to find the shorts have a sturdy, wide elastic waistband. I pulled the drawstring out. Ordering a second pair.

Great, inexpensive lightweight quick dry shorts. The material is thinner than more expensive technical shorts from places like REI, Eddie Bauer, but for the price you can’t beat them. They’re comfortable, and I love the zipper pockets.

Ok, I love these shorts! The material is light and similar to running shorts with added length. Sizing is a bit on the small side. I typically wear a size 10/medium but purchased a large and they are perfect. The pockets are excessively roomy, to the point that if I put my phone in the back pocket, it rests on my mid thigh. Other than the pockets being obnoxiously big, I’m a fan and just ordered two more pair

Shorts are a lightweight material but quality is lacking. The tag was cut out and the back pocket was stitched into a seam making it useless. The fit is more high waisted than I would like for an active short.

Update - about 1 month casual usePockets ripped and my key dropped out while running in the park.Had to retrace the whole route (my headphones were on and I didn't hear it fall - thank god it was on a fluorescent key chain). The whole point of secure pockets, with zippers, is to NOT lose important things when you are active.BTW - the only thing ever in that pocket was one chapstick and one house key on a small plastic fob, so it is not like the stuff was really heavy.)Old ReviewThese pockets are large and zippered (2 side, one back), the material is lightweight and not swishy.My only beef is elastic waist makes them look very frumpy and it is also pretty tight. I got a small and I am 112-115 lbs.Don't think I would buy them again TBH, but they are worth the money for the pockets and comfort.

These hiking shorts fit well and are light weight. However, the second time I wore them, the left side zipper slider came off which leaves the pocket gaping open. The time had passed to return them so now will no longer be useful. Poor quality indeed!

I needed some new lightweight, quick-dry shorts for kayaking, hiking, etc. and these are great! I'm generally hesitant to order clothing on-line due to wide disparities in sizes and fit, but since you can't use fitting rooms at stores currently, I decided to take a chance. These fit me as advertised, and I'm glad I ordered them in both colors. Great price and love the roomy pockets - as some others have noted it is odd that the tags are cut out, so we'll see how they hold up. But so far, so good!
