This antenna is nice however even with the 160 mile promise. It does depend on the location to get the best channel still. I tried it at a friends while at my home as well and we got completely different channel sets so the product works. It provided me with a few good channels such as fox and NBC. The quality provided was solid but even if it does detect the channel, the quality of the picture may be poor or not even show. It does have some flickering and make sure it is in a location where you do not need to move because then you would need to rescan the channel. If you happen to be in a room with no windows this may hinder the signal. For best performance, try to have this device next to a window. There is a long range and short range switch to amplify the signal. The antenna is very big for what you get and thus I dont recommend putting it behind the TV as it loses signal and may not even fit. It definitely picks up more channel then many smaller antennas would but be careful not to have this on the edge of the table or anything. The wires are easy to manage and the device is powered via USB that you can attach to your TV or your box which is what I do. I did not see an performance difference for the TV USB or a wall outlet. Overall this does provide you with a few stations but be aware it may not give you the channels you want. It also may give you channels that do not work at all as it cannot process the signal well enough to give a clearer picture.

Picture Quality is extremely clear and crisp but doesn't pull I many channels. Can only get 1 local channel and that was channel 7. Before this I had the Mohu leaf 50 which pulled in more channels but the picture quality was very poor so I returned it. Not so sure if I am going to keep this one or not since it doesn't get many channels but dang the picture quality is awesome just wish I could at least get the local channels other than channel 7! It is really easy to install comes with an amplifier but still did not pick up anything with the amplifier turned on.

The reason I give this product such a low rating is because of its overreach of operation specs. I live in an area of Northern California that has hills all around me and therefore can not find one station with this unit. They should be more emphatic about cautions about hills interfering with signals. I live 55 miles away from San Francisco to the North.I would not know how this antenna works anywhere else. You have to try them for yourself. Unless you are more than 10 miles away from a broadcasting tower surrounded by hills or mountains.

Great little HD antenna for free HDTV! Packaging was efficient and item was nicely secured and organized in the package. I am in the Philadelphia suburbs and get every local channel except for ABC and my research revealed that the channel is possibly broadcasting on a weak low frequency signal? The antenna itself can be wall or table mounted which makes it versatile and actually looks nice (not like the flat panel stingray looking hd antennas. One negative I can see is that the item does not come with the outlet power adaptor and I was lucky to have an extra from an old iphone otherwise the item would probably not work.

Determined to stick with elimination of cable tv, I have purchased over 10 different antennas over the past 2 years. I was pretty much convinced the poor performance I would obtain from each antenna was the area in which I live, proximity to towers, etc etc but I always held out hope something would work better. But every 3-4 months it gets the best of me, and I become more and more aggravated with the poor channel quality and the few channels that did work suddenly don't work, etc. After mulling over several options on Amazon, I made my decision on this particular antenna based on the range and the warranty. Never before had a seen a warranty for an antenna. I now have 63 channels, and can honestly report that each channel is crisp and vibrant. I am absolutely elated as to the quality, price and performance that this antenna consistently produces. So take it from me - this antenna not only works, but it works perfectly!

I wanted to put a tv in my kitchen. My kitchen is an addition and all cable lines run in crawl space, but the kitchen is on a slab. I already have a HD antenna on roof and I get 60 stations. but with the 160 miles tv antenna/unbruvo I could only get 16 channels half of them were religious or Spanish speaking. I have 5 local stations but only pick up 2. I would like to say the stations that I did pick up came in clear as a bell. I thought this would save me a lot of work. I have return this item its not for me. Debra

I just wrote a review about another indoor antenna and the same thing is true of this one. The one I bought is fantastic. Non line of sight through two walls and it works great. There is one big problem as I wrote in my review about the other antenna. Manufacturing quality. I loved mine so much that I convinced my friend to buy one as he was complaining he couldn't find one that worked well. He's no longer talking to me as his wouldn't pick up much of anything. I urged him to return it but I don't know if he did. As I said, he's that mad. Go figure but, I've had this problem with almost every other indoor antenna I've bought. One will work great, the next one, not so much. All I can say is, try it and, if it doesn't work, return it.

We just cut the cord and I was looking for an antenna so my husband could watch sports on our local channels. I ordered a couple antennas to compare at home including the mohu curve 30, mohu blade and terk indoor amplified antenna. All of those antennas had fuzzy, unreliable channels and found somewhere between 35-42 channels and none of those found channel 10 which is ABC in our area. This antenna found 53 channels and had a more reliable picture for every channel. We live in Miami and we receive the Palm Beach PBS channels, which is far! This antenna was far superior to more expensive antennas. I placed it in on the window sill of a first floor window and it worked out great. It's slim and comes on a stand that is easy to place. Installation was quick and easy. Very happy with this purchase!
