Very fresh Kola
It's bitter Kola of the type I remember. The product was well packed and it's very fresh. I must say the seeds are fresher than I think I've ever gotten before in the United States, positively juicy. The quality is so good I even expect if I planted them they would probably germinate . Of course I don't have the right place to grow Kola, but I'll probably drop 1 in a pot just to see. Viability aside when I slice the seeds the anatomy is clear. They are not rotted, I don't think there's a single bad seed in the entire bag. The bag must contain 50 or more seeds (i did not do a count). When you chew the taste is quite bitter. This of course is expected and desired. I would recommend chewing no more than 1/4 seed at one time, at least if you're out of practice as I am. It has that definite caffeine punch. I will buy again, I got exactly what I wanted and this in my opinion is a hard to find product.

Include a quality check and date for freshness
The product was not fresh as I would like and the nuts were hard and not easy to chew. There was no info included on how to maintain freshness and quality. It would be nice to see where they were grown and a best used by date too. My last order got too hard to consume.

hmmmm not what I expected
many of the nuts looked old. some too soft - I just decided to throw the entire bag away.. Not going to ask for a refund - just done with only nutts.. lol

THIS PRODUCT WAS SENT IN A REGULAR ZIP LOCK BAG. NO COMMERCIAL MARKINGS, INSTRUCTIONS, WARNINGS, CONTENTS AND DEFINITELY NOT SAFE OR SECURE. I WAS SHOCKED THAT ANYONE IN THIS DAY AND TIME OF THE CORONA VIRUS WOULD SENT OUT SUCH A SHODDY PRODUCT. NOT SURE IF I WILL GET A REFUND, BUT I IMMEDIATELY THREW IT IN THE TRASH!!!!!

Bad batch of cola nuts
Inedible. Package came and was partially opened. Tried 4 different cola nuts and they were so dry you couldn't even chew them. Seller did refund for the bad batch. Hopefully it works out better in the future.
