Emerson CF654ORB Sea Breeze 52-Inch Ceiling Fan with Weather Resistant Blades, Light Kit Adaptable, Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish

Had a less expensive HD fan on my patio. Hard to tell if it was on. It didn’t move any air. Went ahead and spent the extra money On this one hoping for quality. I was not disappointed. Well built, well finished, and straightforward installation. And, it works! It moves a good amount of air and is super quiet. Did not require any balancing. Perfectly stable and smooth right out of the box. Very pleased.

Very happy with this fan, however I was a little disappointed in the initial balance of the blades. The five fan blades come in a sealed bag with the statement that the blades are a matched (to within 1 gram) set and are not to be mixed with blades from another fan. But when I ran the fan for the first time, it was nowhere near balanced. I bought two of these and on each fan I had to use one of the supplied balance weights (5 grams) on one of the blades to get them to run smoothly. Given the "matched" set of blades I didn't expect to have to "match" them myself. Other than that, the fans are wonderful.

This a second purchase of this fan. No problems with the first fan purchased. Not true for second fan. Both fans placed in bedrooms and professionally installed by the same electrician. Second fan was purchased in 2021. The second fan vibrates and the motor makes clicking noises on medium and high speeds. For this reason I would not recommend purchasing this fan.

The fan is exactly as pictured. I had it professionally installed as a second ceiling fan in my new screen room and it works great. Good airflow and no wobbling. Can't wait until summer months to really put it to the test. Update: 5/29/18 my fan survived the winter months with no rusting under a covered screen room. I have used it almost daily since the weather has turned humid and hot. Great airflow, quiet and no wobble.

The fan seems really solid, and waterproof. I only wish it had a higher speed and/or moved air better in my 12'x12' screened porch. Am thinking I need to add a second oscillating stand up fan.

I just received this fan and had it professionally installed. It was installed in the roof truss(s) of my boathouse and is operating inside the trusses. First of all, we did not want a fan that was ornate, and had a tacky light. We wanted a simple 3 speed with a pull string. After all, how often do you change the fan speed. After trying to buy a similar fan at Hunter, I finally gave up after contacting their so called tech support and explaining to them my application. When I called Emerson's tech support, I got a very knowledgeable individual who helped me with my application (constant moisture) and steered me in the right direction. This fan is easy to install (in my case, we had to fabricate the support), looks great, is very quiet, perfectly balanced, and looks like it has been in a pool hall for 50 years. I would highly recommend this fan and feel that should I have a problem, that Emerson would stand behind their warranty. Purchased for apx $200 on Amazon.

Would give zero stars if possible. Purchased in May for new pergola but couldn't hang until electric was run. When we finally opened the one box that was delivered we realized that box contained fan only; we were charged for fan, light kit, and remote kit. Photos show box contents. No light, no remote. Even though there is no record of the other pieces being shipped or delivered, Amazon won't help.Should have opened when received, but doesn't excuse charging us for items not delivered.Update: Amazon came through even after deadline had passed. Got second fan at discount. 5+ stars for Amazon.

I purchased 2 of these fans for our newly installed louvered patio cover. I am very happy with these outdoor fans. They really move the air well with the louvers closed, and if I slightly open the louvers, it increases the amount of moving air even more than when it is closed. Either way, I am happy with its performance. It is rated for WET locations, which is what we needed. My husband installed both fans.
