They work very well so far. They charge up well and run all night, VERY bright. I use them for their intended purpose, scare away predators from my chickens, but i think they might work on paranoid humans as well, sneaking on to my property as a first line of defense to make them think they are being observed...

Works on two legged and four legged varmints
After much reading reviews and comparing other night eye like products, we decided on the Nite Eyes to give them a try. We live in a very rural area and keeping predators away from our hen house is a priority. It may just be a coincidence but since we've stationed 4 Nite Eyes around our hen house and coops, we have not trapped s single critter. I'd have to say these Nite Eyes work so far. An added bonus is they give the appearance of a security system from the road as these lights are bright and easily seen in the dark.

Does not deter skunks
I live in the forest on 2 fenced acres. I get bobcats, skunks and raccoons "inside" the fencing. I have placed all 4 and moved them every couple days. I saw a skunk sniffing out the flashing eyes, so obviously a waste of money. I had positioned these at various different heights for different animals (animal eye level) but they just walk right past them. Money to purchase these would have been better spent on snake shot ammo.

Don't work, save your money.
Absolutely worthless, they don't scare deer even on the first night. I've had 4 of these placed now for 2 weeks, absolutely no help. Save your money.

They work
Expensive. Yes, but they do work. We had a major problem with skunk, opossum and racoons living under our deck and these work great (so far)! As an added bonus the neighbors think we got a security system installed.

Nite Eyes works really well, at least at the beginning of the season and if you make sure to move them every few days. I move mine a bit every day. They aren't able to keep the deer from eating comfrey, by the end of the season the deer have figured out they are not eyes.
