Great bed! Very sturdy and good use of space
Great bed! Very sturdy and good use of space. We ordered two for our twin boys that both wanted a "top" bunk. We have recommended these to several of our friends.

Great loft bed
I looked for about 2 months for a loft bed for my 12 year old son. His room is small and limited on space so a loft bed was a must as he is growing older. I also didn't want to spend an arm and a leg but still wanted a nice and sturdy loft bed. This meet all our needs and then some. I will say the only problem I can see is the packaging. Either a sturdier carton with straps around it or put it in multiple cartons. It came in one very heavy long box that took 2 people to move. The carton was busted open on both ends. Thankfully nothing was missing and nothing was damaged. It took my husband and I about an hour to put it together. It was simple, quick and easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and each piece was labeled. Once together the bed is very sturdy and nice. It is tall so there is a lot of room under the bed. It's perfect for my son, he can even sit up in bed. Great buy!

Wobbles a little, but great for the price
I bought the Your Zone Metal Loft Twin Bed (black). I'm sure this bed is intended for children, but I am an adult living in a small space.Size:The bed holds 225 pounds, I assume my mattress is between 30-60 lbs, and I am 145 lbs, so I am probably pushing this bed to its limits. I am 5'2'', so I can stand underneath it as long as my knees are slightly bent, and I can sit up straight on my mattress, but my head is very close to the ceiling. The side rails are roughly 5-6" taller than my mattress, which made me nervous, but I do not move around a lot while sleeping, so I have not had any close calls so far. It would not be hard to add a barrier between the rails and mattress to add some height.Sturdiness:I have been using this bed for a few days now, and the bed wobbles when I climb the ladder or move while on the bed, but it does not feel like it will fall over or break. Again, I am an adult (5'2" 145lbs), so children may experience less of a wobble.Putting it together:The hardest part was bringing the box into the house. It was very heavy. Once the pieces were all laid out, following the instructions was very easy.Space saver:It has completely changed my living space. I put my office underneath the bed. The simple design (compared to other loft beds) gives you more freedom to utilize the space for your particular needs.

I would recommend this to anyone that's looking at it
I would recommend this to anyone that's looking at it. I was hesitant at first that it wouldn't be "solid", I couldn't have been more wrong. I'm 5' 8"/160lbs and it's rock solid under me.Easy to assemble.

Exactly what I wanted it to be.
Sturdy, fairly simple to assemble but it does take time. High enough to put a crib under to make extra space in my boys' room, but low enough that my older one can sit up without hitting his head on the ceiling. I like that it has a ladder on either side so you can choose which wall to put it alongside.

Great Value and Quality
I've had this product for about a year. I think it's a great loft bed for what you're paying.I put it together myself, and you have to lean some parts against something to attach other parts but it's doable. Easier with two people but doable.IMPORTANT: Save the assembly instructions because for the most part they have you put it together in the easiest order as possible.Otherwise, if you ever have to disassemble it, you'll be looking at it and wondering how to reassemble it again and thinking...duh...You probably can down load the instructions from the manufacturer's website, but still, why hassle with that if you don't have to?I compared the structural way it was built with other loft beds on Amazon; the placement of the cross pieces and such, and I think they used the least amount of material while making it structurally sound so as to keep the cost down.It shakes slightly when climbing up/down the ladder and squeaks a little but it's solidly built. However, I didn't attach it to the wall (and I can't remember if they supplied hardware to do so), so it's free standing but still very sturdy. There's a lot of metal beams in this building and I didn't want to mess with it.Some comments are about some shaking. If people want something that is absolutely squeak and shake-free you'd have to use gauge steel like the heavy duty metal stocking shelves in Home Depot. It'd cost hundreds of dollars then.My friend occasionally climbs on while I'm on it. The combined weight is about 260 lbs. There's no sign of it collapsing or tilting.I have it set up in the living room of my apartment with a computer desk underneath it and it blends in nicely. Very cool. It's airy open build and black finish doesn't give the living room a cramped "closed in" feel. It's a guest bed but I've been sleeping in it for about a year since I'm helping my friend get it together and she's in the bedroom. I've slept very deeply on it. I bought the mattress and padding on Amazon too. It's very comfortable; I sleep so soundly. One main vertical beam was dented which I didn't notice until it was assembled. They had me take a photo and and they quickly sent out another one.The only thing I'd say is the ladder rungs dig into the feet and feel uncomfortable but I've used that water pipe insulation foam that wrap around water pipes and it's very comfortable; however, after a while the foam splits apart and you have to replace it. I have to figure something out. But really, this is no big deal in the overal picture.I think all around it's a great value and you won't be disappointed.

... in to the little plastic threads is a very bad design. I have bought a metal bunk frame ...
The way the bolts screw in to the little plastic threads is a very bad design. I have bought a metal bunk frame before from a different company, and my kids and I put it together very easily with the bolts and nuts it came with, and was very sturdy when I got it together. But the bolts on this frame would not thread into the plastic threads, and when I called my husband after trying for about 30 minutes and getting nowhere, he said I probably stripped them out and ruined them. Hopefully he can get it to work when he gets time off of work sometime. If he does, I will try to update my post and let you know how it turned out. But right now it looks like a wasted a bunch of money on a bed frame that won't even work. I would say find a frame that uses bolts and nuts, not bolts that are suppose to tread into plastic threads like this one.
